If you're looking for a more mature society in South America you're straight out of luck.
Inter arma enim silent legesCan I bask in my country's neoliberal economics and lack of erosion of democratic institutions, or do I have to wait?
I don't know the more I live the more I agree with the fact we are all crazy, not just Venezuelans like Pepe Mujica said.
I'm the child of the sun! Can't say I don't often feel like I'm slowly going insane.
I'm jelly.
And that's how I ended up in the wardrobe. It Just Bugs Me!Join us in Panama, we have basic necessities and a stable government, also, no army.
El Manual del Perfecto Idiota Latinoamericano is a thing because most of us Lationamericans *are* idiots.
Granted, so are most US citizens, but they at least can live off the rents from and the systems built by previous, more intelligent generations. At least until they elect Trump and he burns all that away.

Well, in the US the President isn't really that powerful and the legislative can block a lot of harmful policies if they organize themselves to.
Unlike here where there is a disproportionate amount of power in the hands of the executive branch and almost none in the judiciary branch.
Inter arma enim silent legesThe issue with latin america is that the idea of super leader who will save us all still reach a sweet spot with people.
I fact as one university parner said to me: we make politics a religion and here chavismo become a caste on itself.
US as Nox said trust more in the system, sometimes to the point where is stupid(like cops shooting blacks)
so again, latinos are chaotic stupid to US lawfull ones
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Well, when you put it like that, we Chileans do have it pretty good, comparatively.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.It's just like Sócrates said we are all a bunch of idiots.
I'm the child of the sun! The Philosopher or the football player?
I'm the child of the sun! I have seen neither chilens workship the living ground of allende OR pinochet so yeah
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"You haven't been looking hard enough. There's crazy aplenty.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Yeh. Obviously I can't speak for real life, but the 'net (or at least the places I go to) is filled with Pinochet/Allende apologists. Also loads of Maduro->Allende, Leopoldo->Pinochet analogies.
Also, one of the most unpleasant political things I've read on the net was loads of Chilean leftists calling Diego Arria fascist and likening him to Pinochet. (Arria had been ambassador in Santiago, most notably during Pinochet's coup he personally saw to it that would-be persecution targets were smuggled out of the country into safety.)
And that's how I ended up in the wardrobe. It Just Bugs Me!The left-right conflict here is very vitriolic. It's terribly hard to find a good neutral place for discussion.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Compare here that is downright civil
And yes, I know "I least we are not venezuela" is not worthy complement but is to put things in perpective
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"It's alright, all we need is someone to make Venezuela great again.
With very big hands, and the finest steaks, and the biggest dong. Very big hands, I assure you.
Oil is at over 40 $/barrel now. I think it's a good time to stop saying that it's low, it's merely not sky-high.
Also holy fucking shit I can't stop laughing.
And that's how I ended up in the wardrobe. It Just Bugs Me!I don't buy the whole there will never be another boom thing, it will probably be around 30-60 for a lot of time but I'm sure another boom willl eventually happen because It's human nature?
I just hope we can start working as a Republic with laws and get our education working properly like the japanese did before that.
I'm the child of the sun! It's alright, all we need is someone to make Venezuela great again. "
We already have that in Venezuela, it was call chavez, now is time from US to have their own caudillo, that will be fun
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"If Trump was more serious about solving the migration crisis instead being a populist racist he may have a chance of beating Hillary but all he is doing is alienating a huge chunk of the US population against the Republicans. The same thing is happening in Europe.
Basically in Europe and the US the far left and right are gaining power over middle stances.

I'm the child of the sun! Alright, it's the second time someone responds in earnest to one of my strikeout jokes. Maybe it's not showing up on your browsers?
And that's how I ended up in the wardrobe. It Just Bugs Me!
