Well, I did one, but it wouldn't be appropriate if I shared ideas, would it?
I will say, though, that my best friend in deconstruction so far has been Crapsaccharine World. A brilliant trope, that.

I am now known as Flyboy. Not exactly; it can be a pretty big part of the subgenre, but there's a little more to it.
That I will agree with.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."I was thinking that. Because, Elric is a decon of Conan.
I feel this belongs more on Trope Talk, assuming that what the OP was asking (which was slightly unclear) was whether Dark Fantasy is a type of deconstruction.
The answer is a resounding No. For like the fifteenth time: deconstruction != Darker and Edgier. Deconstructions tend to be darker then "straight" tropes, as the basic idea involves showing the logical and realistic consequences of said tropes, which in many cases can have nasty consequences. But equating them is a common and seriously annoying mistake.
Oh, Conan The Barbarian? That's out of my depth, friend. I shot down the Medieval European Fantasy ISO Standard Fantasy Setting...
I am now known as Flyboy.
I just had a thought and it was this I is dark fantasy a deconstruction of fantasy?
