Welcome to the main discussion thread for the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I'm editing this OP and pinning it to establish some basic guidelines. All of the Media Forum rules still apply.
- This thread is for talking about the live-action films, TV shows, animated works, and related content that use the Marvel brand, currently owned by Disney.
- While mild digressions are okay, discussion of the comic books should go in this thread. Extended digressions may be thumped as off-topic.
- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

Kind of...it's like the Internet put on screen....no other movie franchise works as an extension of the Internet (or the other way around, depending how you see it) as this one.
Just take a look at Youtube...how many of the New Media channels are based either on geek culture or superhero movies in general? The MCU alone produces enough "news" and content, that there is a whole channel dedicated to it which is NOT run by Marvel itself.
Eh. Still seems like a stretch.
"She hasn't seen The Winter Soldier? That's nearly a crime!"
Oh, yeah. We're planning to rectify that as soon as possible.
moviebobs review is up...slightly spoilery, but WAY less than usual:

(really disagree with him concerning the current season of Ao S).

I think it's fair to say that The MCU couldn't have happened ten years prior.
Feast your eyes on the best Marvel promo since Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas hamboning.
lol...I think the best part is Sebastian Stan walking through the background looking all "yeah, I am not doing that".
A warning: Moviebob's Civil War review is SPOILERY AS SHIT. I got in around 5 minutes of watching it before I was forced to close it down.
To clarify, it mentions the whole set-up for the fights, but not the solution like moviebob usually does.
I didn't want to know the entire set up!!!!!! I don't!!!! That's why I want to watch the movie in the first place: to know how the situation escates in the first place.
I don't need Moviebob (or any other reviewer for that matter) to tell me ALL the details about the movie's setup
That's why I don't read or watch reviews, parodies, or anything else involving people eagerly discussing details of a film I'm considering watching.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.In fact I decide to no see this thread for two weeks until the movie come out because of that reason
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I usually abandon thread when it gets close to release date. The existence of a separate Civil War spoiler thread made me feel comfortable remaining in this one, but I still quit reading and jump back to the thread list the moment I see even the slightest discussion of the film.
Like, the moment I see someone go, "Well, what Zemo wanted—" NOPE I'm out. Be back in a few hours when discussion's moved on.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I decide that wasnt work the risk, since this thread move REALLY fast, so it was a matter of time to see something else I didnt, it was bad consider that by the rate this place move, 2 weeks are like a bajillion of posts.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The main reason I find myself eager to see films as soon as possible is so that I can rejoin conversations I've had to leave.
@The Promo, lol Sebastian Stan
Crow: There's a plot?I'm slow, why'd he walk off? Can't be a meta-joke on the character because Olsen and Boseman's characters aren't American and they're there. Also I dig RDJ's use of platform shoes there.
Just went to see it.
Long review is in the spoilers thread. Short review: That. Was. So. Freaking. Good. Feel like the filmmakers have punched me directly in the heart. This and Winter Soldier are definitely the best of the MCU.

Just got back from seeing it. Loved it.
That airport sequence: so many character interactions I wasn't expecting, and so much ass kicked.
"Can you move the seat up?"
"No."
"Couldn't you have done that earlier?" "I hate you."
Watching these two characters interact was hilarious.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI'm going to see Civil War tomorrow afternoon. I'm so excited!
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Saw it. Loved it. Is there a trope for when an adaptation completely trounces the source material?
Non-spoiler review of Civil War: Spider-man is awesome. Black Panther is awesome. There are two stingers (mid and post credits). Who is in the right depends greatly on your own point of view.
It's being connected is commentary?
