The idea: God and his angels protect the universe from multiversal Eldritch Abominations. A subplot with Satan is likely.
Every sequel is a different universe with a different true religion that deals with the threat.

Interesting that the previous two posts would be about the end of the world and God respectively, because I'd make a blockbuster film about the Book of Revelation! Seriously, I'm an atheist, and that book is like the ideal Mind Screw to me.
