They didn't own them? Then was Sucker Punch a second party dec that's now becoming a first party one? Because most of Sucker Punch's games said they were owned by Sony. I think.

Aren't those Sony-owned IP's, anyways? I don't think there was ever a chance for that, honestly...
Also, the only way I could see another Infamous happening without being very forced if they set it in a completely different world with different powers but with the same core gameplay mechanics...an idea that I like myself.

I've yet to see what major difference does this make.
It's more frustrating waiting for the asskicking than the asskicking itself.
All it really means is that we'll never see a cross-platform game by them, but that was a huge longshot as it is, so it's effectively nil.
Then again, this might give them access to more money.
