There's Russian as ethnicity and Russian as citizenship of the Russian Federation. There is a distinction between them in the Russian language. I guess it works different in the 'States, you are a citizen = you are American, the closest thing to ethnic Americans in this sense are probably the WASPs. As for the amount of Nordic blood — we can discuss various crazy ethnonationalist ideas, but I doubt it's the point here.
Romanians, I think, are considered to be the descendants of Romanized Illyrian peoples. But whatever.
Greeks, I think, don't really register under this trope. Perhaps it's because people would link Greece to Ancient Greece first, perhaps because they weren't behind the Iron Curtain. The latter also limits the KGB seductress motif.
"Sensual Slavs" is a neat name though, Added Alliterative Appeal and all that. Better than, mhm, "Eager Eastern Europeans".
"Atheism is the religion whose followers are easiest to troll"What still needs to be done on this topic that requires a TRS thread?

Perhaps rewriting the description to remove the over-focus on the "Femme Fatale version" (quoted directly from the article) of the trope?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. What about Marq's suggestion that we make a supertrope in National Stereotyping Tropes that would specifically address sexy national stereotypes?

"Atheism is the religion whose followers are easiest to troll"Since you brought that up, linking for reference.
Thanks for reminding me, BTW. I completely forgot about that.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
Something to point out though, while outside of media we make the distinction between Romanian and Slavic, a lot of times writers and authors do not. It's really more of a Did Not Do The Research than anything else. I've never seen this trope used on Greeks, but a lot of creators don't seem to be able to tell the difference between one Eastern European culture and another.
