This is not Political Correctness Gone Mad. This is an existing term with an existing definition. We don't change such names because someone finds it offensive. Not only that but it's Completely Missing The Point, as this is a trope about an offensive name. So, fail on all counts.

But while we're at it, can someone explain what the difference is between this trope and Tragic Mulatto? Other than the fact that the latter's description is a lot less rambley and annoying to read?
