His suit is lame. I refuse to vote for someone with a shitty fursuit.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan Chahwow, that was a shit fursuit.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryYeah, that's terrible.
“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardAnother sex scandal...I couldn't care less.
"Without a fairy, you're not even a real man!" ~ Mido from Ocarina of TimeI think that these sex scandals are becoming more common by the minute.Or they are just getting reported more often than usual. All I know is that no one is surprised anymore when it happens.
First it was Anthony...heh...Weiner, and now this...
Ha, score one for the Democrats.
Isn't this the guy that dressed up in a Tigger costume? Oh yes, I see it is.
Yeah, the man has some fairly serious mental problems. He is apparently immensely erratic, to the point where his own staffers have begged him to enter a hospital for psychiatric treatment. According to him he has been seeking, "professional medical care" but his behavior does not seem to be improving.
I was hoping he would step down, but not running for re-election is satisfactory I suppose.

Creepy stuff.
I will always cherish the chance of a new beggining.C SPAN is reporting that Wu has announced his resignation.
"E-mails which look as if they were written by children but were in fact by adults" covers an awful lot of the e-mails by members of the public I get to see at work.
Also, there is an argument for saying that 14 years is quite long enough for anyone to be a member of any legislative assembly. If you're elected to do something and you can't manage it in 14 years, you probably never will.
"Well, it's a lifestyle"Poor David Wu. His sex scandal, his one shot at national fame/infamy, was overshadowed by our government plunging over a cliff.
After Chris Lee and Anthony Weiner, it's not like sex scandals have to actually involve sex anymore. American public outrage jumped the shark when those two were forced to resign over next to nothing but hypocritical moral concerns.
I wrote about a fish turning into the moon.^ The man has some serious mental health problems. His own staff pleaded him to check into a hospital.
I don't think this is just about the sex scandal.

<David the Tiger> What mental problems? I feel GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!
“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardOh that is rich.
A sex scandal with a consenting adult is one thing, but pressuring a minor into sex is another.
Call me a Moral Guardian if you like, but I don't think rapists or attempted rapists should be in politics.

Be not afraid...What are the details of what he is alleged to have done?
Only thing I can see is that it was an incident with no witnesses, so it would be one of those things where an accusation is easy, a defense is another matter.
Not pleasant either way.
