That image has been picked in three separate image picking discussions for the content of his t-shirt, body language, and facial expression. He looks like the trope to people who have no idea who he is. JAFAAC does not mean what you think it does. It needs to not show the trope to be JAFAAC. This one shows the trope.

Prior to that, the image was chosen in another thread sometime before September of last year, that was lost when old threads were purged.
The consensus seems to be that while knowing the show makes it clearer, it's not Just A Face And A Caption because there are enough cues in the picture itself that even people who aren't familiar with the show pick them up.

I still think I wouldn't have managed to fit the character with the trope if not for my knowledge of the series, though.
While I do think Sheldon is the best possible example, it is still just a face and a caption.
