This crowner looks deadlocked, so that might help.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.Crowner swap is go.
Wow, that was fast.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCalling crowner to make this wrestling specific.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.OK, so basically we cut the non-wrestling stuff from the page and wicks and then we close this?
Also, I am still not convinced that this is objective. Most importantly, is X-Pac Heat deliberate or not? The latter case would certainly be subjective.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhy not move the non-wrestling things to a new trope? As I recall, almost half of the page is non-wrestling.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I am not sure if we want such a trope - it looks like a Complaining page lays that way.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat's a good point. How about keeping it in-universe only, then?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Only if we have enough examples for that.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell, the first thing that comes to mind is Statler and Waldorf. I also recall Homer pulling this on Flanders at least once, and Calvin on his teacher, and everybody against Zoidberg's attempt at a comedy act.
So yeah, heckling happens.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! It's not heckling in general (although we don't seem to have that, and perhaps we should). It's hating a character because you don't like the actor. That's pretty rare as an in-universe trope.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.OK, so how is this: Put all non-wrestling examples in a sandbox so that anyone interested in making something with them can have them, cut them from X-Pac Heat and then close this?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFine with me.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.Anyone else?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMake it so.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenMade it so on X-Pac Heat and Sandbox.X Pac Heat. Tackling the wicks now.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWould it bother you terribly if we de-folderfied the Pro Wrestling section? Aesthetically, (IMO) articles with descriptions longer than the examples look bad.
Edit: Especially when only one medium is allowed.

"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenNo.
Just working throught the wicks. Oh, and a sample at the usage makes me less inclined than ever to 1. make X-Pac Heat objective or 2. make a non-wrestling Audience Reaction for that.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDone and done.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenAnd I just got all the non-wrestling wicks removed.
From this wick cleanup I see that the only "trope" we could make here would be about reality shows, but every other non-wrestling usage is complaining, sometimes crossing over into stealth personal attacks.
Will add to discussion now.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAnd done. Added note to discussion.
If anyone wants to get something from the non-wrestling examples, they are on Sandbox.X Pac Heat.
Done here and lock-hollering.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNice work.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer
Crown Description:
Vote up for yes, down for no.
OK, one question here: Are we fine at closing this crowner, leave "only wrestling" vs. "all media" to a Single Prop and then decide a rename or Trope Transplant in another Page Action crowner?
