Perfect World....is that the company that developed that MMO where people live another life?

As for this game...looks like real time combat, interesting. But it looks like all the characters are pre-made, so you can't make your own.

Do note I'm only judging from the little bit of screenshots and videos I've seen.

Perfect World Online was once touted as being the only game with a slider based character customization system. That and being one of the biggest graphics hog MM Os of the time. However, they seemed to have toned down a lot with Ether Saga onwards.

EDIT: I like that so many devs are moving into realtime hack and slash but having players take control of pre-existing heroes is a trend that needs to disappear right now.

On the other hand, while a big minus to not be able to customize, I have to admit, the pre-made heroes are often much better looking than player made custom characters...

So which character are you going to go with. Frantz (Half Vampire fights with swords and Axes with Vampiric Magic) Tude (Gauntlets and claws) Or Angela(Magic Sword and Scythe weapons with support magic).

I wonder if Tude can decapitate his opponents considering his [[Highlander last name]] .

Huh. Thought I'd been the only one to think of a slider customization system.

I've been playing as Tude, and he's pretty fun so far.

I think I'm going to mess around with Angela, though. I love the Magic Knight archetype to death.

So its "Free to play" on steam....

This would make a pretty neat co op game. But as an MMO? Not so much...

It's available on Steam!? I'll definitely try it out later. If my computer can handle and run it of course.

Always looking for a good MMORPG with a great community...

My computer cannot handle rusty hearts. It's lying somewhere between incredibly choppy and Unplayable.

Mine ran it great. Especially considering that it's been choking on some other games these days (sigh).

If there's any other tropers playing, I'd love to co-ordinate something. The combat system feels fun enough. Played as Frantz (who I named "Brahm", ho ho ho). Going to spend a little more time farting around with it, which is horrible because I have a september backlog out the butt already.

I'm Anjiee (Angela)... :P Made it to level 6 last night by plowing through the Upper Sewage Plant with a couple of like-minded Angela players (who may have actually been girls)...

I'm a Level 8 Tude, the guy is really fun to play.

I didn't have any problem running it and you can customize your characters with clothes bought with real money or earning them after quests.

The game itself isn't bad at all, good old hack-n-slash. Nothing ground-breaking, but realiably fun. There's a storyline and some ok voice acting.

Can anyone whose downloaded and installed this through Steam explain more about the Xtrap thing? That's kinda turning me away from the game.
