Even though I'm not impressed by Tri I think doing something as extreme as rebooting the most iconic universe in the franchise would have been a far worse move. And mind you, this is coming from a guy that pretty much lost interest in most of the plot and thinks the only thing that is still carring the show from him is Maki.
Instead of rebooting Adventure, maybe it would have been better for the franchise to just keep creating new worlds to keep things fresh. Look at what Appmon did, for instance. It was a relief for all the fans that were expecting more from Tri.

I certainly agree in regards to Appmon.
Also, while most people talk about the various animes. I have not heard many people talk about the various Digimon Mangas... Like, has anyone here atleast read one of them?
I have readed V-Tamer 01 (Which features an alternate universe version of Tai/Taichi that is not as hot-headed) and Next (Which kinda feelt similar in tone to Savers)

As for me, the only manga I haven't read is the re:digitize decode manga that actually had some lenght to it rather than be a one shot like re:digitize, cyber sleuth and hacker's memory.

Most of the Digimon mangas have been 100% fantranslated, the only ones that I do not know if they have full translations are the manga adaptations of Xros Wars and Appmon.

I'm a little disappointed they went that direction.
So Homeostasis is suddenly evil too? It seems like an excuse to do another fuck all the gods story that I've seen in SMT and some other types of fiction.

Homeostasis has been presented as a pretty stagnant being that prefers an unhealthy Status Quo Is God over change. The Xros Wars manga was about how a good digimon (Bagramon) choose to create an empire made for digimon born "Evil" because Homeostasis says a Digimon is good or evil from the moment of its birth, which is Black-and-White Morality too simplistic and irrational in a world of grey. And Bagramon wanted to make a better world for them as much as he does "Good" Digimon. His brother was born Evil too.
