I remember seeing an online promo for Digimon Fusion before it aired that used the name "DigiXros" before the name change was finalized.
EDIT: It appears the preview that Irene linked was actually a preview for a fandub.

Huh.
"Strategy? Spacing? I just keep punching until I hit something." - Sol BadguyI agree with the dub names thingy, that's one thing I do hope the dub retains. Dub names with the original Japanese score would be best since that's how Latin America handled the whole thing.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. That's a fandub? Thank goodness. Even if they did translate it to use Japanese names instead, like Fusion did, as long as the voices aren't trash, it can be tolerable(but yeah, seems we're all in agreement to keep the consistency).
Anyway, I really hope we get an actual full version of the song. Maybe it'll be better than the snippet we had. My hopes aren't high, though. XD
I'm not!
I got my hopes up when I heard that they might be using the original terms, because dub + original terms is something we have never had before.
In all his officially-arted glory: Cyber Sleuth's ultimate 'mon, OMNIMON ALTER-B◊!
Damn that's badass.
He's that rarest of things, a Tier Four Mega: WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon -> Omnimon Zwart -> Omnimon Zwart D -> Omnimon Alter-B. In terms of Evolutionary Levels this is on par with ZeedMillenniummon himself.
...see why I kinda want Ultra to become a "normal" level?
Never heard of those either, but they all look really badass.
The basic Omnimon Zwart was introduced in one of those online card games. The two higher forms are exclusive to Cyber Sleuth thus far from what I can tell.
...you mean next 0rder right?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Auugggghhhh sorry. Yes, got them confused.
Do we know anything about Next Order?
I mean, there are still only a few videos of it. I'd love to see a bit more of it, but there's hardly been anything of it at all.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, that game had some weird lines is all I'm saying; like, Beelzemon was in it but not Impmon, so he had to mostly come from Biyomon's line if you wanted to get him, Alphamon was exclusively an evolution for MetalGreymon, Agunimon was a Perfect level Digimon who came from RedVeedramon and evolved directly into Susanoomon, Belphemon Rage Mode was a Super Ultimate Jogress who came from Sleep Mode and any other Demon Lord, including Lucemon Satan Mode, and Daemon came from either Infermon or WaruSeadramon, the latter possibly coming from Tsukaimon > Saberdramon.
...Rob, the game's been out since March.

Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!RedVeedramon came back? That's the most unexpected return since... well, ChaosPiedmon came back.
And yet, the trope page still barely has any info.
That and while I've found a few videos that make an attempt to translate what's going on, one group is way too long (clocking in at 2-4hrs a clip) and others stop after a while.
And there's no info on whether it's getting an official translation either.
One Strip! One Strip! So add more? That's what you do.
When the Digimon MMO started giving Burst Mode variants to all Megas, Chaos Piedmon felt beyond obvious to me. All the Dark Masters bar Puppetmon have clearly upgraded forms(Metal Seadramon has two, no less). I wasn't too surprised and actually figured that type of stuff made perfect sense since the introduction of Burst Mode in Data Squad(mind you, there's where I learned of it). To note, Metal Seadramon and Machinedramon have two ideal Burst modes. Giga Seadramon and Chaos Seadramon, and then there's Hi Machinedramon and Chaosdramon. Piedmon still has one, and there's almost zero Digimon that carry more than one sword among Megas(Tiger Vespamon, Piedmon himself, Gaoimon, and Chaos Piedmon. Most just have a sword and some other weapon. I was a bit surprised they haven't done more).
Speaking of Digimon games, I just remembered a game that despite getting a official translation its pretty unknown. Its called Digimon World Data Squad.
As the name implies this game is based on the Savers/Data Squad anime but the plot is somewhat different. It kinda makes sense since the japanese name for the game is Digimon Savers Another Mission. (Wich means its a Gaiden Game) I had alot of fun with it but I never managed to finish it.
On a side note, In the game Masaru/Marcus is voiced by Quinton Flynn. And now I cant help but to imagine 'Rules Of Nature' from Metal Gear Rising playing in the background as Masaru punches a Digimon.

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Here's the Appmon rival character◊. I can't tell their gender.
That's a guy. Almost guaranteed. If I'm wrong, at least It'll be funny.
Regarding Omnimon Alter-B: this seems to be one of the very few times that an X-Antibody Digimon has had a dark counterpart.
Its a what now?
I should probably clarify why I feel this way. Now, I'm sure many have realized that the point of Tri was to be a nostalgia thing for Adventure fans. Well, the dub fans would want to see stuff based upon the actual dubs they saw. With the exception of who Gatomon's Mega is, everything else is pretty much the same. The Digivolution scenes are different, but actually what people saw anyway, so it means little. It's also arguably easier to animate.
I think that the dub should cater to the dub fans, while the Japanese version should cater to the Japanese fan, as much as possible. Due to the digivolution scenes, it'd be harder to use the regular Digivolution music they play, so Braveheart playing is a bit more justified. But there's kind of no reason to ignore what the fans of the original Adventure dub seasons know of. It's confusing and feels a bit like a kick in the teeth. That said, unless there's copyright reasons, there's no real good justification for retranslating the stuff. Also, the video I posted? I won't lie; the voices were really hard to understand at times. It wasn't all that high quality. I hope the final version is better.
...And I hope the official theme song is better than that. Or at least longer. I mean, the hip hop style actually isn't too odd, since Tri are a set of movies, and the movie version of the Digimon theme had hip hop to it, so...
