Well, if you've got something in mind that shows a better visualization of the trope, let's see it. The image we've got now is suitable, but not great; I can see no problem with swapping it for something with less text.
I reject your requirement for a witty statement or fanboyish squealing in my signature. How about a screenshot from this boss fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eJ5obCPOkE
It's a boss whose weak point is a flag with the words "weak point" on it.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! How about an image of the Thardus fight in Metroid Prime, with the thermal visor locked on to the single glowing weak rock?
Or basically any shot with an obviously glowing weak spot being locked on to.

I am definitely a madman with a YouTube channel. The living walls from Okami comes to mind. The game hints at you the exact locations you need to strike with the celestial brush in order to destroy the barrier and move forward. If you miss even one of them, you have to start over. I wonder if I can find some screenshots of that in action?
The bosses from the House Of The Dead games do that, don't they?

"We are not a stuffy encyclopedic wiki. We're a buttload more informal".How about something from Contra?
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyThat strikes me as shmuck bait. Does anyone have a Star Fox pic? Those bosses usually have glowing squares to hit. The final boss has several.
Here's◊ a screenshot from a Nitrome game that plays it straight.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.It does? Is it the blue spot on the back of whatever that is?
May I suggest this old favorite of mine.
Bongo Bongo◊ You taught me that I love the sounds of percussion instruments.

Please.Glowy blue-ish spot on the back of a very armored black-gray-beige vehicle. I thought it would be obvious.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish. That's what I figured it was, I just wanted to make sure since I've never played that game before.
I would have guessed his weak point was his back because it is less armored there >.>
Please.Bumping.

Belief or disbelief rests with you.Can you brighten it just a touch? The monster is a bit hard to see. Otherwise, good.
Fight smart, not fair.I think it looks good as is.
When citing a You Tube URL try to copy the URL with the current time attached.
Spark's suggestion ([1]) is nice. Star Fox isn't quite as readable or obvious.
Shadow Of The Colossus might work if it's a shot of Wander using the sword to locate the weak point.
But really, I'd be in favor of something where the weak point is a nice, big bulls-eye emblem or something similar....

I think that lost planet could also work.
All the enemies have huge weak points on em.
Please.Eh. Requires knowing who Achilles is, how he died, and that the picture shows that.
It got it in like 5 seconds, but I grew up on Greek mythology.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The current image on Attack Its Weak Point shows a comic panel in which two monsters talk about having a special magical weak point. It strikes me as more appropriate to show a weak point in action; for example, a battle from a comic or video game where the protagonist is instructed to attack a weak point, and does precisely that.
Scott Pilgrim's battle against Envy comes to mind, and so do several video game bosses (that often have arrows or signs pointing out the weak point). Thoughts?
