One is a treasure set consist of wings what actually work, a mirror shield and a bow what shoots arrows of light, with additional bonus of fancy new armour as Set Bonus. The other is a mecha.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! The TST and GST both offer Pit unlimited flight capabilities, but the GST is by FAR the faster of the two. The TST allows Pit to deflect projectiles indefinitely with the Mirror Shield, while the Bow of Light allows him to fire very powerful arrows with homing properties. As a whole, the TST also gives him a defense boost, but not enough to survive getting attacked by Hades.
The GST is a LOT stronger defensively, capable of handling multiple powerful blows from Hades, who is able to casually knock down pillars as tough as mountains. The GST is also more versatile, able to go through multiple modes of attack as its broken down, along with gaining more speed. It also has a powerful laser which it can use normally, or requires Palutena's power to charge when broken.
But for the sake of the argument, lets say it'll be used normally. It covers a MASSIVE Ao E, being able to consume Hades' entire body whole (For the record, Hades is taller than the highest structure we have here on Earth) and still have plenty of space to cover. As another note, in Kid Icarus Uprising Pit has something akin to Sora's Second Chance/Once More abilities, where as he can survive losing all his health by a sliver.
The GST's laser? It BREAKS through that protection and instantly kills Pit. So Sora's one advantage of being able to use Second Chance/Once More to survive the laser and then Curaga himself? Out of the question.
The title of that preview shoulda been "Pit falls into Death Battle"
...That's it. I have zero knowledge of either franchise, so I'll just be rooting for Pit.
me:Who is Aki Shizuha?
New theme music also a boxA goddess from Touhou. Also a Stage 1 boss.
Well, so has Pit.
Well, OK, he only did it once, but he hasn't come back for a rematch yet. Disney Hades appears to be proper immortal, so he keeps hanging around for coliseum battles.
Granted, there was a lot of help involved in Pit defeating Hades (between Dyntos's gift of a new weapon, and a trio of goddesses pitching in for the final part of the fight), but Hades is after all probably the second-strongest god in that series. Even ignoring Hades, Pit's godly body count is definitely nonzero. Somewhere between 3 and 7, depending on what you think about Phosphora, Arlon, Pyrrhon, and the Chariot Master.
I figure the Sacred Treasures will play a role in the battle. Death Battle never goes into full detail on a character's arsenal in the previews. I'd guarantee that there'll be a section on Pit's full arsenal in the full video.
I have a message from another time...Specifically the goddess of fall leaves with her only powers being making the leaves change (by painting them by hand) and making the leaves fall (by kicking the tree really hard) and also shooting magical bullets but everyone can do that
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIf once can count different versions of Xeanhort as godly, then Sora has at least a 3 body count (Marluxia final form is probably at least on par with ASOD)

Watch SymphogearI ain't counting any form of Xehanort as godly until he properly absorbs Kingdom Hearts into himself. ("Complete" Kingdom Hearts. Sorry Xemnas)

I'm pretty sure Sora beating the Rock Titan will be canon due to it being in the Kingdom Hearts III trailers.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.I don't see any reason to discount any of the Bonus Bosses from being canon, honestly. Under DB's "takes them at their strongest" rule, the Sora that appears in Death Battle should be the one that smashed Sephiroth's teeth so hard into his skull that he was biting his own arse twice in 1v1 duels.
The fights may be optional, but Sora still won them if we're taking the strongest interpretation of him.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.But as I've mentioned before, KH Sephiroth is NOWHERE near as powerful as FF Sephiroth. Not to mention even on the subject of KH, Sephiroth basically brushed Sora's efforts as "Yeah cool you aren't a shit kid"
Giving cutscenes a quick glint, I'm... not sure where the "Great Sacred Treasure is a part of Pit's body" thing came from. Only thing that potentially supports it is the opening cutscene of the final chapter, and even then you could make a case that it was just a pitch black room and he was hopping into the cockpit than it was that Pit can summon it at will.
Dyntos didn't mention it at all during the fight in the previous chapter, and none of the Idol descriptions treat it as anything more than a (really powerful) vehicle either.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThe specific words Pit uses is "Great Sacred Treasure...Activate!" There's no indication of the GST's presence until he says those words, and it being a pitch black room's not a justification for how we wouldn't see it considering how big and shiny it is.
What if it's voice activated and also shadowed for effect?
"Activate" just implies at most it's voice-activated and not necessarily By the Power of Grayskull! or anything, and the pitch black room thing is a case of Rule of Cool. (P-EDIT: 'd, curses! My penchant for using more words than other people in sentences is exposed yet again!)
Treating it as an inherent part of Pit's body is just and hinges entirely on making assumptions about a five-second cutscene where the easier assumption to go with is just "it's a vehicle".

🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaSure, could be a voice activated thing. But at the same time...Its a big bright shiny robot.
The voice line just had him Summon the robotic tigers that comprise its body from various locations around the world.
I have a message from another time...Welp, Goofy and Donald are gonna be right there, watching the fight in the Colosseum from KH.
Outside help isn't allowed, so it's only natural that Donald's there.
Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?Home-field advantage then.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!That will probably be their way to include drive forms while keeping it 1 v 1.

Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?Holy crap, a fighting game character in 3D.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!
Is there any difference in ability between the two?
