Strange would probably obliterate Fate.
My various fanfics.Yeah, one of Strange's biggest feats is something that got THE LIVING TRIBUNAL to pay attention to him and only him for a bit.
I don't know much about Fate, but I doubt he's got something to match that.
Plus, everything Fate has is in the hat. You take off Fate's hat, he's fucked. As opposed to Strange, who, despite what the MCU would have you believe, is still one of the most powerful beings in the universe even if you take off his cape.
My various fanfics.What was it?
Plus Fate tends to have weird limitations on what he can do due to being a servant of the Lords of Order, while Strange is a master of all magics (Even stage magic!)
Technically his cloak and amulet also have powers and he has (sometimes) retained those sans the hat. That said the Helm is where all the good stuff tends to be.
Didn't know Strange was considered more powerful than Fate. I figured that, with some rare exceptions (like Spider man vs Batman) Marvel would be inferior to DC in most fights.
One Strip! One Strip! What was the thematic connection between Spidey and Iam T Knight anyway?
Forever liveblogging the Avengers...Outside of being the most well known characters in their respective companies (well, one of the most well known in Batman's case, since Superman is just as famous) I don't think they have any thematic connection.
It might also stem from having the two most well known Rogues Galleries (with only the Flash being in the same ballpark I think). This is all just an assumption though.
One Strip! One Strip! The originals? Peter and Bruce are crime-fighting heroes that usually did their work in the night, and are usually the poster boys of their comic franchises. They use gadgets, martial-arts, and their wits to defeat their foes. There's also the contrast of Peter snarking and quipping his way through a fight, while Bruce is cold and serious.
2099 vs Beyond? The legacy characters of the aforementioned heroes. Set in the future where the previous holder of the title can't do it any more. (Peter being dead, and Bruce being too old.)
Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?I don't think Peter actually had any Martial Arts talent until that time where he lost his Spider Sense and was force to invent that way of the spider fighting style with the help of...I can't remember who it was. Might have been Iron Fist or whoever. I only know the vague details of that time in his life.
He mostly just used his agility and Spider Sense to their full potential and kinda cobbled together something before then from years of fighting villains.
One Strip! One Strip!Shang-chi, son of he who cannot legally be named
Forever liveblogging the AvengersPeter's "with great power comes great responsibility," and Bruce's "my parents were killed during a mugging," origin.
They're probably the two most famous superhero origin stories and have been parodied more than any other superhero's.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Okay but the thematic connections they go with are usually more on point then that
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThemed after animals, densely-populated rogues galleries, underdog heroes known for their ingenuity above all else, constant angst defining their careers, contrasting color schemes, both characters being the premiere characters of their respective companies, and controversies around both characters punching above their weight class.
I'm sure there's more precise ones, but that's enough for me.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Not to mention, the creatures that they're themed on are objects of fear.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805People that are afraid of bats have apparently never seen a bats
They're delightful
Forever liveblogging the AvengersAgreed. Hard to be afraid of this
Ehh... I'd argue that in the right context, almost any animal can look cute and cuddly. Case in point:
Besides, if I fell into a cave and got thrashed by bats as a child, like Bruce did, I think I'd be afraid of them too.
I love to learn, I love to yearn, and most of all... I love to make money.Difference being a bat is literally harmless, a Tiger isn't :-P
Yeah, bats are harmless, and I have a bridge to sell you. note

Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)I mean plenty of animals carry diseases. That is not the animal himself.
You can get a dog bite infected too.
It's justified that Bruce specifically has a phobia of bats, but a phobia's all it is. It's goofy of him to think that the criminal underworld as a whole would have a general fear of it.
Like, I'm botanophobic. Plants scare me. But I wouldn't dress up as Fernman and start trying to terrify the mob with my scary fernarangs.
My Tumblr. Currently talking Dragon Ball and working my way back to Danganronpa V3.At the very least, a lot of Gothams crominals probably do have a phobia towards Bats now, or at least their shadows.
Because of the wonders of skirting around copyright infringement we know that Dr Strange would have to sell his soul to Cthulhu to compete.
