Has been made a duplicate: Fountain Of Expies

I vote for the Goku or Sensui expies. But then again, I'm a weaboo.

This is such an awkward trope to picture because so many of the good examples are already subtropes.

I still kinda like the in-universe ones I suggested before. I'm not big on the Batman suggestion because two expies isn't really what I'd call a "Fountain"; also, The Cowl, while admittedly broader than just "Expies of Batman", is its own trope.

The Mojo one is probably the best I've seen on this thread. Here's something I thought of.

I dunno so much about this trope, but that does feel like something else. I know an image on Plagiarism is frowned on, but we might could make a case for that.

What was the problem with the plagiarism page having an image? Are Useful Notes pages just not supposed to have pictures?

I imagine because it's Flame Bait.

It doesn't seem like adding a picture would "trivialize" the page any more than that Tom Leher quote already does.

Looks more like a problem with faulty clones than expies.

I kinda like the Batman expies, even if I don't like yet another Batman pic.

I also support #53 for Useful Notes/Plagiarism. There's no Flame Bait involved, as it's a parody of it, which also means it is an example, and shows it well.

Batman is a good choice because there's the Midnighter, the Knight Watchman, The Mink, Owl-Man (DCU alternate dimension character), Nighthawk (Squadron Supreme), Fledermaus... tons of visually distinctive yet obviously called back depictions.
