Because of the lyrics containing the word "hamon" (meaning, ripple) and the fact Mishiro sharing voice actor with Lisa Lisa, I keep thinking about Jojo whenever I hear this.

Didn't I mention before that Starlight Stage draws upon the anime's characterizations and relationships more than the original mobage? Because it bears repeating.

(Anastasia and Ranko were NEVER associated with Minami prior to the anime. And now this. XD)

You know what I find the most distracting in that pic?

....The fact that Ranko is wearing her hairband while in water.

Oh, and there's the bit with Minami in swimsuit.

I kind of like the anime/Starlight Stage version of Minami actually, as well as the interpersonal relationships it brought (first Anastasia, then Ranko). Much better than the mobage version, where she's just another of Kaede's drinking buddies.

Now, could someone help me out with Mishiro's entry? Because I'm not sure what to term her talk with the producer about their management methods (she of the "I want to preserve the dignity of the castle" vs. "protecting the ash-colored dreams" the Producer follows).

Speaking of Shiki, in the mobage she seems to be associated to Minami (due to being on a radio show with her) and... Frederika? The latter one seems a bit out of left field, and seems like a poor-woman's copycat of Love Laika.

The fact that she's part of the Master Collection kind of makes that moot, as it means that she's got enough of a fandom to BE part of it.

The annual Cinderella Girl voting is kind of like the AKB 48 elections though, so there's a huge bit of block voting involved.

Rin has a strong fanbase and she became a Cinderella Girl as well.

Actually, I'm more impressed by Miku coming 2nd place.

Rin's voting was apparently fraught by controversy. Reading the posts for that year, apparently there were so SO many internet-voting shenanigans that it wasn't funny, up to fake I Ps, VP Ns being used, and whatnot.

Ranking becoming second Cinderella Girl wasn't exactly a clean process either, IIHC.
