Relevant for discussion. To add to hilarity, apparently apart from Saber and Rin, all the other top-10 girls for last season are from The Idolmaster franchise.

Producer shares the top 10 with, among others, Lelouch and freaking Kirito and Tusk (from Cross Ange).

I don't like it. Some series just don't work with differing drawing styles transposed on to them. And this is one of those instances.

I think it fits Ranko's style best. Not the series itself though.

I think they're cute. You know, in that creepy Burton-esque way, still fun to look at.

With Anzu, Chieri, and Ranko, i think they are cuter.

I like how even in that art style, Kaede is still beautiful.

You know, Kaede's popularity is amazing. She had no recent special game card nor prominent appearance in anime, but still managed to be in top 5 in terms of official popularity vote. I swear, one of these days she's going to be the cinderella girl...

Also, i still can't believe Miku climbed up all the way to second place! That reminds me, Cute type never had a Cinderella Girl yet, and with exception to first, all the CG has been Cool type. Hmm...

From what I've heard from my Cinderella Girl playing friend, it depends a bit on purchasing power.

And Cool Producers are the most plentiful

She was one of the more unique earlier ones. I love the NG girls, but really, they were designed with generic Average Girl, Cool Girl, and Genki Girl in mind. Kaede is older and has the more mature, womanly vibe that Vanilla iM@S Asuza never really got across. Her appearance is unique, not your bright eyed typical school girl, and I really want her standard outfit.

About the uniqueness of Kaede, I think it's actually because her quirkiness is much more subdued than the others that I like her so much. A lot of idols are just too zany for my taste, even the older ones.

But Kaede...she's more down to earth, in a sense. At the same time, I think she has the best smiles in the anime. It's kind of smile that could get me to do anything...

In another topic, so far Mio has snapped, and so did Rin to a lesser degree. Now, we need Uzuki to snap too.

I wonder if Cinderella Girls is playable in US?

I wonder what is the most popular coupling in the history of franchise? Im guessing Haruka x Chihaya.

By the end of anime, who knows, it might just be Producer x Rin. XD

Also, who here thinks that the outfit for Fuck yo-I mean. Dekoration members are rather inappropriate? Kirari is.fine, but Rika and Miria? Their outfit makes me cringe everytime i see. I also dont see the point of Miria's existence. She's just there. Is she.there for loli quota?

I don't see the problem with Dekoration, their outfits or Maria. Mind filling me in?

Haruka and Chihaya have been together since waaaaaay back when the Idolmaster project was conceptualized in the early 80s. The concept sketches are available online too, so you can see just how far things have come since then.

Both Miria and Rika are underage, and yet they're more or less wearing tubes with cleavage and midriffs exposed, on top of the micro-minis. Someone in another forum said that they'd be horrified if they'd seen their own 11-year old daughter wearing a dress like in in public.

Pretty much, yeah. Well, technically speaking everyone other than Minami is underage, but Miria and Rika the most blatantly so.

Seriously, this is borderline example of WTH, Costuming Department?.

Not really. Yeah their outfits bare their midriffs but they're played for cuteness rather than sexiness. Rika is the only one of the three trying to be sexy and both the show and characters treat that as a joke.
