The Life and Times Of Josie And Tariq

God was bored, or at least something like boredom exclusive to omnipotent beings. So he decided that having a daughter could be good for a lark. So he loaded an Angel with his "Silver bullets" and sent him to Earth to find a pious couple to raise the godly child... the angel chose a lasped Catholic, single lady. Meanwhile Lucifer wanted to be a mummy, so she posessed a woman during coitus with her hsuband. A week or two later, Josie and Tariq were born... at the exact same time. Turn's out they're gods in their own right, they meet in preschool and become best friends. Follows them from four to fifteen. It jumps back and forth.

Just some random arcs.

Capitalism (Age eight) They start a wish stall, dollar per desire granted.

Monarchy (Age ten) They camp in Tariq's back yard, get bored and turn the inside of their tent into a medievil castle.

Hygeine (age six) They have a bath, ride whales, fight pirates... and drown.

Satan is rather nice, and God isn't evil but vastly alien.

In the capitalism arc, how long does it take for it all to Go Horribly Wrong?

About an hour.

...Creepy. Do they get more sympathetic to humans dying once they, y'know...die?

Yeah they do, at first they have issues with it because they're immortal and they know of the afterlife and visit it often.

What's the afterlife like?

Heaven and Hell are both paradises, Heaven being for people who take joy in knowledge, contemplation, watering pot plants. Hell is for basically, partiers. Some people in Hell don't get they aren't there to be punished and inflict toture upon themselves.

Does anyone try to explain to the people in Hell that this isn't that Hell? Does anyone in Heaven mistake it for something else?

Sometimes they do, usaully it doesen't get through, and not really.

Tariq the boy. And does it seem strange two six year olds might have a bath togethor.

It depends. Society (society society, not Society Society, mind you) would perhaps find it a bit odd, but at least some six year old kids would not care.

School age and up = No.

Since these kids are not there yet, well it depends on their upbringing and cultural wiew on nakedness. (I assume they go skinnydipping...)

Does it seem odd that a fairly normal woman (Josie's mum) would let them. Maybe they were both grimy and not enough hot water for a bath after the one being drawn. Also these two created The S/K's verse while bored, make of that what you will.

A pair of omnipotent kindergardeners created Society-verse, well that certainly explains a thing or two...

Well If they had got really dirty and she did not have much of a choice...

This sound too gross, they make the bath water into jelly, eat some and realize they've been soaking in it after playing in the dirt?

Sounds like something I would have done if I had a lot of water and omnipotence, but I'd summon vanilla custard powder instead of Jell-O powder...

Trying not to screw their town over with their antics, emotional stuff, dealing with the fact that their divine parents hate each over.
