Wagrid: have you purchased all the faction buildings, or fully upgraded Rome?

That's odd.

Yeah, all the Faction Buildings are bought and Rome is 100% rebuilt. I'm currently post sequence 9.

[up]Could that be it? Are you perhaps not allowed to complete them in the post-game?

No, I have not. But like hell am I going to bother doing so with the game finished. I had assumed they were tied to synchronisation like the Christina memories.

You do know you have to go to the respective faction buildings and talk to the mission giver to trigger them, right? By the way, if you didn't get the "new assassination contracts unlocked" message yet, you're probably in the part where one of the contracts is on the roof of the Assassin hideout and you can't see it because the hideout icon hovers above the contract icon.

Yeah, I do in fact know that. It should be fairly obvious that I do considering I have completed all but the last set of mission in all cases.

However, I will check the hideout roof.

EDIT: Aha! Turned the game on this morning and, lo and behold, there they were on my map. Must have been some kind of bug.

I had a similarly weird bug with Brotherhood, that made Assassin bars disappear completely once used. None of them were off on assingment, or dead, the bar just didn't reappear until I had reloaded the game. I started a new game and it was all fixed. Weird.

I've noticed a few such things in Brotherhood to be honest. It seems like the game could have used a bit more playtesting.

Still remarkable that they turned out such a great inside of a year.

I'm really starting to love the multiplayer. Manhunt is great.

Really? You're the first person I see saying that. I heard it was a pretty mediocre game.

^Hmmm? Who said that? Brotherhood is a solid game, I just don't like how Ezio's story portion of the game turns out. It feels overly padded and doesn't end up going anywhere honestly...but that aside that gameplay is really solid and I love that they keep adding on more features and tweaking stuff. I loved that civilian rescue missions became Assassin Recruiting missions and I actually really enjoyed the raising of the Brotherhood into an elite group.

Yeah, pretty much all I've ever heard about Brotherhood is "fantastic game, Ezio's story isn't as good as in II though." Hell, even Yahtzee liked the multiplayer!

Not that anybody should actually listen to Yahtzee of course.

It's the internet dude, humour is harder to convey here than in real life. Most of the time. So relax.

Maybe pothole it next time?

It's remarkable that a studio can put out a game in a year, but I'd rather wait a little longer for proper playtesting. Making sure a game is actually fun and playable is the true art of making games. (also the hardest part, and probably around 30% of dev time if done right)

Considering that one hasn't been used since last year and isn't even a full page long I think using this one is perfectly fine.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood out for Mac now.

I wonder if this one manages to be worse than the PC port. Heard that was the case for ACII.

I think the PC port was fine. But then I never played the console version. (well, I played the console version of AC 1, but they kind of revamped the ngine)

The only thing I really dislike is the menus because they move with the selection, so it's best to navigate them by button instead of by mouse, but I'm kind of a UI snob so I kind of overthink these things.

I can't imagine doing chase scenes on a PC...

[up]Then again, you're the one who plays Mass Effect with a trackball, right? It can't be too bad for you then. Or am I thinking of someone else?

Not only do I play ME with a trackball, I also do my Team Fortress 2 with it, too.

But the good news is I just bought a Razer Blackwidow because my old keyboard was awful and I had a billion gift cards to spend and I tend to type a lot due to coding and writing so there's that.

So is it bad that most of my bro assassins are chicks?

Also apparently Desmond is screaming. And Lucy is missing. Also wild mass guess that Shaun is a Templar because he signs off with a single initial.
