Well it might be because 1. Most of the people so reviled are revilled by liberals who don't usually shoot people and 2. Well, even if you did have him murdered it'd still be ethically questionable.
He's a cunt, but is he enough of one to deserve death?
^ That. You rarely hear of extreme liberal pro-choicers or pro-gay rights activists shooting up a church. However, you do hear of extreme right conservatives doing so.
You do? Name one time.

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books. So can he be extradited to Britain to face charges if he knew about the tappings and all that? Better question, will he be extradited or will the U.S. refuse to.
Crazy is as crazy does. Does it matter which side of the spectrum a killer is on?

Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?...why would they refuse to extradite him?
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.@Game Chainsaw: You never heard of the time a doctor who performed late term abortions got shot in the head at his church?
Point being, to relate it to the original topic, us liberals tend to just fume and whine and do absolutely nothing when someone we revile does something. the crazy side of the right wing is a bit more..proactive.

I'm not sure "extreme liberal" is even a thing, unless you're referring to violent leftists like the Weathermen or violent libertarians like Timothy McVeigh. You can't really be an extreme of an ideology that is intentionally bland and inoffensive.

^ Er, he's Australian...?
Yeah, the Murdoch family is funny. Rupert is an Australian who lives in America, who controls Britain. James (his kid) is an American, who controls a lot of money in Britain, and owns British Sky Broadcasting.
More than lives in America - Murdoch senior's an American citizen (IIRC, he had to be in order to persuade the authorities over there to let him expand his media empire into the US).

"Well, it's a lifestyle"Oh. That's makes things Much Much Worse then. If only we didn't have such strict gun laws, eh? Just for this one moment...
The world would be so much better if Rupert Murdoch and his wealthy family were dead.
Scum like that, manipulating whole countries to their whim...why can't anyone do something about him?
I'm curious about something, but its very US-centric:
Newscorp owns FOX news, but FOX news is headed by Ailes, Bush Sr.'s campaign... person. He basically is a spin-master. I'm wondering if FOX news would become his if the Murdoch family ceased to exist...

Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffI'll tell you what they could do; try not buying the bloody papers. No need for anyone to die, no need for mass expulsions. Don't buy the rags, don't buy the gossip mags, don't buy stuff that perverts the purpose of news to inform the public on things they must know.
We as a society have a part to play in this, remember? Murdoch sells what sells. Not saying I'm happy with his philosophy, but the fact is if you don't like it, don't buy it.
Never say you don't have a choice, there is always a choice.

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books. That's also the solution for global warming, and is impractical for exactly the same reasons.
Da Rules excuse all the inaccuracy in the world. Listen to them, not me.Choosing to live without hot water and the lights on, and choosing to get your news from reputable (or at least quality) news sources are two entirely different propositions.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books. No, the comparison is because both involve convincing millions of people who do not care to stop doing things they enjoy.

Alright, you've got me there.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books. If the Murdochs (in a Best-case) died, then there would be feudalistic in-fighting over who gets what. Hell, if Rupert dies, there'll be in-fighting.
I do not wish death on anyone... but MURDOCH!
If Rupert died, Britain would be a freer nation.
I, on the other hand, refrain from wishing death on anyone. Call me self-righteous, but I'd rather a scenario where everyone walked away from this alive.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.
Someone needs to hurry it along then..
I'm so surprised that there aren't more assassinations of people who are so publicly reviled. Maybe I need to get into a new line of work, it's not that big of a deal to get a bolt action rifle and do a little research into the comings and goings of a prominent person.
