I got more miffed at what those two powers were. He already had something that lets him fly; this episode he got something that makes him faster and... something that makes him fly really fast. Wow. That's kinda boring.

@Caphi: or we can just re-encode it after re-editing the translations. I mean if you have an MKV encoder you can just demux the file, edit the .ass file, then remux the thing.

That isn't flying. That's more like Crush Interlude kind of thing. Surrounding yourself with energy to slam at the enemy. Notice how he built up speed first before executing it?

What I'm more interested is in his black armor. It disappeared when he used his speed form. So does that mean he also has an defensive form where black armor covers his upper body?

Is what I'd say, but a quick look shows all of the raws to be mp4. I don't know about mp4 accepting .ass files. I hate mp4s.

Eh, Rinoa's from Final Fantasy 8. (Yes, I popped in just to say that. I don't even follow this series. I'm annoying.)

Meh? You can demux gg's release replace the .ass and remux the whole thing and not even the idiots from gg will notice the rinoa gone...

Actually there are a lot of ways to make mp4 accept .ass files. The internet is a sea of "free" stuff

Oh, come on. Kenmi's been Obviously Evil since halfway through the series. Him doing something horrible in the penultimate episode is hardly a stretch.

Yeah, Obviously Evil he has been, but I'm a little disappointed to see him devolved in scenery-chewing when he's been so affable for the rest of the series.

It's also disappointing for him to claim to have been behind everything.

Good ending for the show.

I don't care what anybody says, Sacred Seven had a good run and a great ending.

I'm actually with you on that point. I did enjoy the show a lot, and that's enough.

Shame it had to run with (and be overshadowed) by the other superhero anime...

Which show be that? cats and rodents?

both are fun to watch... BUT, but.... there are some diffs between the two, comparing them is a bit.... unfair(?)

So, I finally started watching this... Bad timing, for sure, but whatever.

Anyway...

• Cold open... well, they certainly didn't waste any time.
• Maid Army?
• It's funny, but when I see a stone statue in a skirt ploughing through the town at high speeds (throwing up a dust trail behind), I'm reminded of Carnival Phantasm Ep 5. Oh hai there Berserker!

Episode 2.

• ...Well, there's rich, and there's rich. WTF?
• They needed to handle the Mood Whiplash a little better what with taking over the school, then shunting to flashbacks, Ruri's sister, and suddenly... skydiving!
• Ruri jumping out of the plane without a parachute, I can understand even if I have to facepalm at the predictability of the scenario. But what I don't get is: did she just lose a whole bunch of other stones when she let go of the case in mid-air?
• That Darkstone fight was rather anticlimactic. I expected a closer fight.
