Okay, just tried some sandwich cheese with soy sauce on top. I would have tried a proper chunk of cheese instead of the sliced stuff, but I didn't have any on hand.

I...don't really know how to describe it. The soy sauce doesn't absorb into the cheese well. It isn't bad, but it is rather salty.

Yune just dipped the cheese in the soy. Of course, cheese doesn't absorb any liquid.

Man, were just into 4 episodes, one month, and a doujin of this is out already.

Well I looked up the doujin, and, well... (sorry Onyhow, but it's a H doujin)

But the manga has been around since 2006. Also, that doujin has been around since 2008.

Meh. So the doujin was based on this episode eh?

Watched ep 5...seems like anime swapped this with ep 4, which means that the character who's surprising Yune is different...

Also, I might be mistaken, but Alan, the shopkeeper with glasses, is a character who's only in the anime right?

LOLZ episode 4.5 has French Mugi in the 18th something century!

Some of the things Alice does really remind me of stereotypical weeaboo actions. Not sure how I didn't make the connection until this episode.

I felt like they were kind of hitting us over the head with the birdcage thing, although it didn't stop me from enjoying the episode.

I'm liking Alice more as it goes along.

I always seem to watch this show in bursts. I have yet to watch six and seven.

Seven episodes in and Yune still hasn't learned anything other than 1) church bells exist and 2) Everything the French do is wrong and Japan is superior.

I laughed at Alice's self-insert fic. Not in a mocking way—I thought it was adorable. It looks like she has been a japanophile since an early age.

Also, we seem to be getting even more Claude-Camille backstory stuff next week.

Great. Not only has the entire nation of France been tripping over itself to make everything Yune does look as good as possible, but now we learn that America doesn't even exist.

This episode was actually... really good. I mean, until now it's been pretty... fluffy, but there was some genuinely good characterization there with Camille and Claude.
