Since it's CLAMP I'm sure there's a long convoluted reason in there somewhere.
i. hear. a. sound.Given that it's all fake, I think we're heading towards an explanation for everyone dying
Maybe they're all just Flesh?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial...yaaay, finally reached episode 10. And WHAT THE FUUUUU--
Haaah. Okay. So apparently Nono and Nene are the real deal there. I half-expected them to turn into illusions, some daydream or...something.
Well Tokizane's death wasn't that pointless. Remember how she only seems to go berserk successfully after she sees important/other people around her die? That Samurai dude was a small exception, or I don't remember clearly anymore, but in the beginning no headache inducing flashbacks bothered her, so after enough bashing around she got into her supermode; lately she has been out of it and constantly is distracted by her flashbacks, so the killing-off-people usually triggers her supermode. Or that's how I would explain it.
How many episodes is this series supposed to have? ANN says they have 12 episode titles but nothing about how many episodes. 12? 13? Seems like the conclusion is near, anyway... nevermind, that interview you guys linked answered that. And. WHAT, IT'LL HAVE A MOVIE?! Steins;Gate and now Blood C. Hmmm.

Never Give UpThe twins are back! And still twincestuous! And now really creepy!
Poor Tokizane, Saya didn't even angst about his death the way she did with all the others... though I guess he may not really be dead, if he's part of The Masquerade like the twins and Kanako. I wonder what's going on with Itsuki—it's surprising that he's lasted this long.
I love the idea that this entire show—once you get past all the gore and Mind Screw and Break the Cutie—is really about everyone wanting to sleep with Saya.

Okay, new episode confirmed several guesses, hm? Also, those guys have nasty characters. Poor Saya.
Too bad, no Guimauve this episode D:
Never Give UpBUT BUT BUT, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!? Not even Mawaru Penguindrum was this much of a Mind Screw, and that is REALLY saying something. What the fuck, directors? What the fuck?!

Watch SymphogearThey should probably have made this reveal a bit earlier than the second-to-last episode
I'm not sure if ti is the second to last episode or not.
Watch SymphogearIt is. We've known it was to be 12 episodes from the beginning. Even if we didn't, there's not enough time before the next season to have a 13th
Well, damn. Everybody is a Jerkass.
Lol, the massacre of the town with the Bunny Monsters needs to be Benny Hillified. Its perfect.

Watch SymphogearSo I hear they're planning to finish things with a movie. Were enough people watching it for the movie to actually get made?
Yes, as the movie was confirmed just a while ago:

Watch SymphogearI see the movie is going to have a clear direction to it. And I see the wish that was made came true. I think despite the show's issues it's a definite like for me. I think the only problem I really have with the show is the pacing. I think I could have gotten a little more out of this with a proper pace.
Wow, I actually rather liked the last episode. It's a perfect example of how, realistically, an exquisitely detailed plan would go; The villain is possibly one of the most competent I've *ever* seen.
Like the part where he [hide]shot Saya in the head.[/hide]
That man is *stone cold*.
I also wondered, as a side note, whether he'd made [hide]Tadayoshi her dad, in the hope that they would breed. Hence the creepy sexual tension between 'father' and 'daughter'.[/hide]
Overall, it was a mediocre show, but I feel that the last episode made up for quite a bit in spectacular, gory kind.

Hopefully the movie makes up for it.
I'm not sure how competent he is. He failed in his goal
Well, he is still competent as in ...being villainous, smoothtalking, dignified and...well, he doesn't seem that bothered by his failure.
Gosh, I really like the ending (and I hope the movie will be memorable). I really mourn the deaths of Tadayoshi and class representative guy, though. Those were the most sympathetic ones.
And after all this shit, I really want to give Saya a hug.

...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuBunny monsters killing everyone! My bloodlust has been satiated by 50%.
I just saw the pics but can anyone tell me how the "blender everyone with the killer bunnies" scene happened?
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuThe entire depopulation of the town, or just the mulching?
Why does this show just love killing off characters? It's like it doesn't mean anything to them with how often they do it. Tokizane's death was completely unnecessary and not even dramatic. And Saya's barely phased by it! What gives?
