Well, I came out as transsexual as I was attempting suicide the first time.
The fact that I'd consumed a lethal enough dose of (name withheld to avoid imitation) kinda forced my mom to worry more about the fact that I was trying to kill myself than the fact that I wanted to be a girl.
I wouldn't suggest coming out as anything during a suicide attempt, since it's kinda hit-or-miss on the reaction.

What does it feel like to come out as gay? What kind of emotions do you go through, finally telling someone?
