We can probably do better, but I don't think it's bad enough to pull right now.
I agree, it shows most of it.
Fight smart, not fair.Agreed that it works. Can it be improved? Probably.
Please.Not an example.
Please.... I must have misinterpreted the trope, then. What IS it supposed to be about?
How catching someone with a metal hand defies physics and doesn't turn them into chunky salsa. A subtrope of Not the Fall That Kills You…. Perhaps I am jumping the gun and assuming you meant the claw finale. For that I apologies. What scene do you have in mind?
Please.I might be remembering incorrectly, but wasn't there just such a scene towards the end of the first live action Transformers movie?
Yep, when Optimus catches Sam as he's falling, but IIRC Optimus moves his hand as he's catching Sam.
I'd suggest an opening scene from Godannar, it has a giant robot hand with a built in air bag for just such occasions.
Fight smart, not fair.I wish I had Eureka Seven.. I'm pretty sure I saw this trope there a few times. I'll look through the Transformers live action film for that scene and see what it looks like.

Actually, I did. The title threw me off. o.o

I think its fine.
I think the current image is fine.
Any other thoughts? Right now it's looking like a keep for the current image.
Yeah; nobody's linked anything to replace it with, so....
The current image also has watermark issues.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I wondered about that, but I wasn't sure if it was a bug or an honest watermark...how's this◊ from the examples list?

That's a bug, not a watermark. It's ok. Although one without it would be better, it's not reason enough alone to force a pull.
But Jetfire is even better.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Watermark: "don't use this picture/signature" across the image itself. Not okay.
Bug: icon/signature/artist scribble, telling you who made the picture/ the network it's hosted on. Okay to use.
Fight smart, not fair.My definition of the term must differ from yours.
Watermark: Identifying trademark overlaid on the image to indicate some kind of ownership or licensing in effect (of which this wiki has neither).

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.As I said, the current image is kind of hard for me to parse as "catching a falling person." The Jetfire one is much clearer in this respect.
Bump.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.I'm leaning toward the Jetfire pic.

Is it just me, or does the robot look like it's offering the woman and child to some other, bigger thing offscreen?
