To be honest, I'm kinda losing interest in this season overall. It seems to be all about the transformations, music, fashion shows... I stopped watching after episode 8...

@Test of Courage

  • Someone on YT pointed out that they like this season because all the Winx don't fight as one group, some stay behind to be helpful in other ways or they split up in groups of three.
    • I agree with the comment, it brings more focus when you only have about 3 characters to listen to.
  • I don't know why amnesiac-tic characters are funny. Glad to see Bloom so loving throughout the ordeal, she didn't really dwell on it, but she kept up hope and focus on the mission. Other series seem to want to put complete depression on it.
  • "Blast us out of here!" — "Don't hurt the coral!" [lol]
  • The King and Queen of Domino are great, both of them are fighters. It is rather odd seeing how loud and energetic they are about protecting their Kingdom and even letting their daughter go. And then you have the King and Queen of Andros who are rather stiff compared to their daughter, Aisha.
  • Silly me thinking Icy would actually not break Bloom's parents. Though I did laugh at how nonchalant she was about it.
  • Daphne being helpless was disturbing. She literally can't do anything physically.
  • Flora about to have heart attack with Bloom flying into (supposed) danger. It doesn't surprise me she would do that, since she, Aisha, and Musa are pretty pig-headed.
  • So finally we reach Sirenix for America.
    • I saw the Italian take on it and the revised animation. And while I am glad the production was upped (the animation is quite nice), I am disappointed at how edited the transformation is compared to the test animation. The girls now have stuck-on-glitter sparkles and the song is spaced. But if the upload of the English one is correct, the song plays straight through with only the first half of Bloom's intro missing.
    • Not sure why their hair changed color... you'd think it would go light and then dark not the other way around. But I guess it is good for toy selling. Since I am waiting for it actually.
  • I personally like the little fish guardians, they try even when an enemy is bigger than they are. lol

I do like how they split up into trios. It makes for some interesting pairings and interactions. If the writing was better or the quests interesting, they would provide a lot of unique experiences. Oh well. This episode was pretty good actually.

  • Have I mentioned how I like Tecna's holographic screens? It's a nice touch.
  • Wait, if Serena is the last Selkie, does that mean there are only 8 of them? Why would only Earth, Andros, Solaria, Melody, Magix, Zenith, Linphea, and Domino have them?
  • Nice to see that flashback. It's a nice Call-Back, and reminds us of the sword.
  • Quest stuff is pretty standard, not much interesting there.
  • It must have sucked being trapped by coral of all things. Now if only they had the power to miniaturize. Seriously, I have no idea if Harmonix keeps the previous powers, but Believix was able to shrink down once.
  • Oh hey, Bloom blew up a guardian creature that was probably just defending itself. Nice work there.
  • Oritel and Marion need to hire better guards if Darcy can take them all out in 10 seconds.
  • I would have thought that at least Marion would have some magic of her own since Valtor implied that she had some and she used magic to get into Oritel's sword, but I suppose it's never really stated, plus she could she could have lost them while in Obsidian.
  • Normally I'd be complaining about how the people who beat Valtor and took on the Ancestral Witches should not be losing to these three, but the Trix played it smart. Darcy and Stormy had a good trick, and Stormy had a nasty trap waiting for Oritel. Kudos to those three.
  • I'm amused that those three would even consider not killing Oritel and Marion. It's just like them to kill defenseless prisoners.
  • Oh hey, Flora solved the Shy amnesia plot. How very anticlimactic. At least that subplot is over with. Hopefully the other Specialists can get some screen-time now. Riven has done nothing this season, and Timmy and Helia have had maybe two scenes.
  • Time to finally finish up this quest and get to the juicy parts.
  • Looking ahead, I'm not that fond of the CGI, but if they can make it work, then fine. Just as long as the whole show doesn't convert to CGI.

Why would only Earth, Andros, Solaria, Melody, Magix, Zenith, Linphea, and Domino have them?

Protagonist-centeric adventure? Plus the writers are probably tired of coming up with new worlds.

Just as long as the whole show doesn't convert to CGI.

I think this was confirmed to be exactly what they were doing a while back? I think I saw some all CGI Winx in Sirenix screenshots a while back.

Not sure why their hair changed color...

Taking tips from Precure, maybe?

Is it just me or is Harmonix the power that doesn't do much?

The second half of the season will be half and half with 2-D animation and CGI. 2-D is still used in the episode 14 preview, while CGI is only for certain areas.

From what I can tell, the only thing Harmonix does is make swimming and spellcasting underwater easier and negate the effects of pollutions and toxins, which is how the Winx are able to clean up the oceans quickly and beat the Trix so easily. They just counteract Tritannus's spell which made them stronger, which came from pollution and toxins.

While I don't care much for the Selkies, it was definitely implied that there were Selkies for all worlds with oceans, but we haven't seen one for say, Eraklyon. I'm actually curious if the Omega Dimension has a portal to it. I'm just going to assume that Tritannus only needs 8 Selkies and ignored the rest.

The hair colors looked pretty bad to me, but I may reevaluate after I see it in good quality.

Hopefully they'll be able to pull this off (ie Studio Satelight).

I guess it makes sense for a transitional transformation for Harmonix to have that sort of power, but I feel like they over-hyped it (and over-designed it, I mean if I see ballgowns I'm not thinking "Oh, this is just something to tide them over till they get to figure skater mode".)

Toy-wise it makes sense though.

Oh hey, Bloom blew up a guardian creature that was probably just defending itself. Nice work there.
I just assume it was an illusion or really old and thus exploded from... oldness.
Oritel and Marion need to hire better guards if Darcy can take them all out in 10 seconds.
**head canon** They probably keep them around for laughs.
Is it just me or is Harmonix the power that doesn't do much?
It was meant to provide them a way to travel underwater, since their Believix forms failed to protect them from the element and pollution. They can't do much surface fighting with Harmonix, so I guess when you think about it both of them balance out. My issue is trading one power for another and thus if the current power is under threat they could lose their magic.

I don't know why I am so laid back about the 2D 3D combo. I guess since they had it for the movies I just take it as a natural progress.

I was rather disappointed to see that the pixies have not appeared in season, because I was looking forward to seeing Roxy bond with a pixie. The selkies are nice substitutes, though.

I wonder if the Love and Pet pets will be brought up. It feels kind of akward to just drop them with no explanation.

The fairies are back in their own land, Pixieville. The spin off show "Pop Pixie" is taking place so I don't believe they can have the characters in two shows at once.

That and they are not water fairies.

I wonder if the Love and Pet pets will be brought up. It feels kind of akward to just drop them with no explanation.
No its, not (at least to me). The purpose of the pets were a step to getting Earth beings to believe in magic, the pets creation was due to enchantment. Now that Earth has its fairies again, the shop doesn't require episode focus.

@Ep Sirenix

Okay, Tritannus went from being a sympathetic antagonist, to a slight sympathetic villain, to freakin' jerk- I hope Winx kicks his tail.

  • Is this the second time Bloom had a late-power spurt?
    • It doesn't surprise me that Flora got it quick.
  • I don't know if I should laugh at how vague the guardians were being or frustrated. On one hand they literally cut things down to the wire and stress out the girls. And on the other they are actually quite helpful and teach the girls that things don't come easy.
  • Now Icy and Tri are starting to look more like a couple... an odd-couple, but at least now it is a bit more believable that they are partnered together. Though the sisters seem to be getting more agitated, I am waiting to see if at least Stormy does a heel turn for the heck of it.
  • Seeing Tritannus swim I can finally get a good look at how he pollutes everywhere he goes. And he hasn't let go of that staff for anything.
  • Ah Selkies, again, I personally like them. They take their role seriously.
    • Though it would be nice to see them relax at some point, they got the scales knocked out of them quite a few times.
  • So I wonder if this is the last Harmonix transformation or will it be a back up thing when they are not Sirenix. They also have Believix... hmm this is confusing. Since two are specifically for water and one is for land/air.
  • Ewww why did Sirenix give the Trix tentacles. Their outfits look cool though.
  • Daphne is not all shiny anymore :(
  • Ooo... Sirenix...
    • I am unsure if I should feel happy that the song was slightly redone with additional lyrics or sad. Since I am so use to the repeating version on the test footage. But I find the edit sounds better in English than the Italian version which seemed to pause oddly.
    • I like the look of Sirenix because they have on a wetsuit appearance. lol people were always going on about their short skirts. These outfits and wings look suited for action.
    • So if the infinite oceans turns things 3D, does that mean the other ocean is finite and turns things 2D?
  • HA! I forgot Aisha and Tri were related. Man, Aisha can't get a break in relationships.

Pop Pixie is an alternate continuity to Winx Club. Digit is male in Pop Pixie and female in Winx Club after all. I imagine the Winx realized they would not have time to take care of their pets, so they gave them away to good owners.

  • Is it wrong that Icy/Tritannus has been the most amusing couple this season? They play off each other fairly well, though I'm still not convinced Icy is completely sincere. Tritannus needs to lose his delusions about conquering the whole Magic Dimension when he can't even go on land. If he lowered his ambitions a bit like the Wizards of the Black Circle did, he might have a shot.
  • The Sirenix guardians are really just being pointlessly vague at this point. Stella should've kept pestering hers for information.
  • Why do they need the ship to get to the lake anyway?
  • You know when the Trix had lost most of their respect? It's when they were beaten by the pixies, creatures of little power (and it wasn't even all of them, Digit and Zing did most of the work). It doesn't speak well for Tritannus if he's actually struggling against the Selkies, even if it's 7 on 1.
  • I do like how the Selkies are actually doing something useful for once.
  • Oh hey Tritannus, got his ass kicked. And it only took two of the Winx. It really makes me wonder why they were treating him, like the next Valtor when all he can't do much. The Wizards got away with being underpowered by being good fighters. Tritannus is not impressive.
  • Couldn't Aisha have just thrown him onto the land? It would be hilarious to see him flop around.
  • The Trix finally get a permanent costume change. Took long enough. Looks weird, but I'll take what I can get.
  • Here is the Infinite Ocean. Hopefully we learn what is so special about this place, otherwise I don't know how Tritannus thinks he'll conquer the whole Magic Dimension, even if he can go everywhere.
  • Not a fan of the CG, but it seems technically fine. Hopefully the quality stays decent at least.

I'll do a mid-season review later. Now to wait for the Christmas episode in English. I do hope episode 14 isn't pushed back until September like I've been hearing.

Don't expect to see Harmonix or Believix ever again. The Winx don't seem to like switching forms around even if they should, otherwise they would have used Enchantix when they went back to Magix. I do like how each transformation has its own unique uses, even if they weren't intended to be switched between.

  • Enchantix is the one used to unlock the other forms. It's the powerhouse of the transformations, providing the fairies with the most power of any of the forms so far. It also gives them fairy dust to break dark spells.
  • Believix allows them to connect with people much easier and helps people unlock their true potential. It helped smooth over the reveal of magic. It gets magic from the people, which was why it was more effective against the Wizards than the pure magic power of Enchantix. It also has a few extra goodies with the extra wings.
  • Sophix grants the user control over nature. Same with Lovix and ice.
  • Harmonix/Sirenix is for going underwater and also seems to be effective at countering pollution. Theoretically Enchantix should be better for fighting on land or in the sky, but as long as there are dolls to sell we are never going to see that happen.

@The Magix Christmas

This is definitely an odd ball episode at the pace the series was going. RAI should have waited much later for such an episode, but I guess with Sirenix coming up it couldn't really fit anywhere else. So perhaps Nick's decision to hold it back as a special was a 'decent' choice.

And totally blanking at the fact that Bloom's Gardenia parents actually made it within Magix. But I'll just chalk that up to magic and love.

A Christmas episode. Pretty uneventful overall.

  • Where's Roxy in all of this? There is really no excuse for her not to be in this episode.
  • This is technically the first time all 6 Winx had a Harmonix transformation together.
  • Guess the Trix took the magic of Christmas a little too literally.
  • I guess the ice dragons are okay monsters.
  • Wait, if the ice barrier stops the phone connection, then how is Tecna connecting to the internet?
  • Icy should have just gone up to Stella or someone and straight up murdered her when no one would see it coming.
  • Everyone, including all Alfea, really seemed to baby Bloom a lot this episode. Gets kind of annoying after a while.
  • As for how all the Earth people got their, remember that Mike and Vanessa couldn't enter when Earth was mostly devoid of magic. Earth is part of the Magic Dimension again, so everyone on it should have free rein to go anywhere. That and the writers probably forgot about the barrier anyway.
  • So ends the first half of season 5. Too bad we only got 11 proper episodes this time. Until the second half airs, we've probably got Magical Adventure and possibly a mermaid special I've heard rumors about.

[up] We can assume they grew up on some planet (probably as bullies at their local school) and then left for the Fairy/Witch University choice. Being evil, they picked Witch University and then learned they were descendants of the evil ancestral witches.

What we don't know is who their parents are (therefore they may not actually even be sisters) and where they grew up.

Also, I found out why their hair color changes when they go Sirenix underwater.

Moxie Girlz hair changes color when she goes into the water

Polly doll's hair, nails and clothes change color with cold water for an entirely new look

Features color changing hair and tail

While some more backstory would be nice for them, they have more backstory than most other villains except for Valtor and Tritannus. We know they are the descendants of the Ancestral Witches in some way and have long craved the Dragon Flame. More importantly, we've actually seen their rise to power. From attending Cloudtower, to getting the Dragon Flame, and so forth.

Does Lord Darkar have any actual backstory? One that isn't 4Kids? He might have some connection to the Dragon Flame, and he may or may not have been commanded the Ancestral Witches, but that's about it.

Valtor of course we know plenty about. Created from the Dragon Flame by the Ancestral Witches, invaded Domino, and craves power.

We know very little about the Ancestral Witches aside from being the mother of all witches. Which is probably metaphorical, but who knows.

The Wizards of the Black Circle have little backstory aside from imprisoning the Earth fairies. How did they meet? How did they get the Black Circle? Are they from Earth? Do they know what the word century means?

Tritannus we know plenty about.

It seems that "The Lilo" is going to be airing again on January 15. Hopefully this means rest of the season will air in April, but we'll see. And now for my quick season 5 overview.

The plot has been fairly simple so far. The Winx and Specialists were mostly just chilling until they had to deal with the oil rig. Tritannus failed in his assassination attempt and got thrown into prison with the Trix. The oil and the Trix led to him escaping and getting a lot of power, when he suddenly got delusions of universal conquest. The Winx panicked and started the Sirenix quest. Sky lost a pendant and his memory. The Winx got Harmonix and searched for the gems on their planets. Tritannus brainwashed his family and captured Daphne. Both sides gain Sirenix and enter the Infinite Ocean. There have been a few interesting parts, like with Daphne being Sirenix, but mostly it's been predictable with few twists.

Bloom was acting all mopey again. I liked her better when she didn't mope all the time, like in season 4. She's got reasons, but it's annoying. She's gotten closer to Sky(again) and started to remember she has a sister. She's also trying her best to hog the spotlight, with limited success. She still has screen-time where she shouldn't have it, but she's not really stealing it either.

Stella has decided to concentrate on fashion designing. She's also becoming a big brat again in her off time. It's getting annoying, especially since I thought she had matured more. Other than comforting Bloom, she hasn't done much else.

Aisha has probably been the best character this season. She's still trying to cope with Nabu's death while dealing with an enemy that's connected to her. Now she knows how Bloom must feel all the time. She's been their best fighter by far, which is cool. She seems to have bonded with Bloom and Stella more this season.

Flora exists. There was a hint of an arc with Crystal/Helia, but that's apparently been dropped. She seems weaker than before, which is annoying. Hopefully she'll pull off something cool. Her biggest role ended up being helping Sky with his pendant/memory problem. I don't think she's done anything else.

Musa has done basically nothing. Well, she remembered that her mother exists. She did some stuff on the quest. Or not. She's only gone on one planet mission, which means she's really only been extra muscle this season. She's probably had the least screen-time this season, but I'm fine with that considering all the screen-time she got last season.

Tecna is the smart one as usual. She's the one finding their information and locations of where to go. She's probably the second most useful Winx this season after Aisha. She's only gone on one planet mission, but she's actually been doing stuff at Alfea, so it's less of an issue with her. Sadly, it seems she and Timmy have regressed in their relationship. Maybe that will show up more later, but I doubt it.

Sky has been really lame and annoying. He obsesses over a stupid pendant for no reason. It almost ruined his whole life when he wouldn't regain his memory because if it. It didn't even lead to any interesting story arcs. He didn't learn anything or change by the time he got better. And yet, he's still hyped up as the best of the Specialists. Go figure.

The other Specialists exist. I think. Brandon at least got to play a small role with child Stella. Timmy has helped Tecna with a programming thing here or there. Helia almost had something going on with Crystal before the writers remembered that they don't want to actually use him for anything. Seriously, what has he done other than be Flora's arm candy and occasional muscle the entire show? I've forgotten that Riven is supposed to be a main character. It still doesn't feel like his and Musa's relationship is steady. Nabu...is dead. That still makes him more memorable and important this season than any Specialist not naed Sky.

Tritannus is lame. He doesn't have the power, smarts, or experience to be a true threat compared to Valtor. All he does to the Winx is go around, spread a little oil, maybe summon a monster, and run away. Sure he's brainwashing a bunch of mermaids, but that just makes him look like a big jerk more than anything else. There's a little potential left in him so that he can become dangerous, but he's going to have to ramp up his game.

The Trix are actually doing fine so far. I'd say they're the main reasons Tritannus is still a threat at all. Icy certainly likes him, and it doesn't look like it's an act. She could still be faking it though. Darcy and Stormy might try and split off if they get annoyed with Icy too much. Not likely, but it would shake up their dynamic. While they keep getting beaten, they were impressive when they took on Oritel and Marion.

The Selkies are lame and boring. No interesting personalities or powers. Not Love and Pet bad, but nowhere near as good as the pixies.

Harmonix and Sirenix are fine transformations. They're not nearly as good as Enchantix or Believix, but oh well.

The 3D feels like a gimmick, but it can be pulled off well.

Season 5 really feels like an attempt to replicate season 3. Alfea is more of a headquarter now. They're rapidly planet-hopping just like in season 3, but here we're not actually seeing anything of the planets. We didn't even get to see land on Zenith. The Trix once again have a romantic relationship with the main villain, though this time it's just Icy. The whole plot is about stopping Tritannus, like season 3 revolving around stopping Valtor. Tritannus is stealing powers and brainwashing mermaids, just like Valtor. My point is that it's like season 3, but wetter and with a drop in quality in writing.

Overall, everything just felt lackluster. The Sirenix quest was where the problems really began, so things should improve from here on out. Hopefully there won't be any more useless episodes like "The Lilo" and the Christmas episode.

Don't forget to read my liveblog of the series.

Season... 5

The Lilo was entirely pointless and really shouldn't have existed, but Nickelodeon seems to like issuing these kinds of episodes (See episode 3 of Power Rangers Samurai airing instead of the actual Origin 2-parter, which aired months into the season after everyone had stopped caring). I guess they got to cash in on a starlet song though, but I'm against the starlet songs being used in Winx Club, let alone being lead singles for the seasons while the transformation songs get no releases whatsoever.

The Christmas episode was fine, but only because it actually felt like an attempt to further characterize the Winx instead of focus on nameless girl of little importance and her plant that will never come up again.

After I got used to the Sky-Amnesia plot it became like background noise from my computer, I could tune it out whenever it was on, though it did allow me time to examine everyone's voice actors, Bloom, Stella, Aisha, Techna and Sky have really come through, I still hate Musa's and Flora's is a bit too emotional, even for Flora.

The planet hopping would've been awesome if we'd actually gone planet hopping. We just swam through lots of sea that honestly wasn't very... different design wise (The waters of Zenith are surprisingly similar to those of planets that aren't tech-based, which is disappointing).

There were lots of plots introduced in the first half of the half-season that just fell through. Musa's mom plot (No, crying about it then turning into a monster and then forever forgetting about it is nowhere near resolution), Techna and Zenith's lack of emotions (also, Hello plot point that should've been introduced two seasons earlier) and the Flora/Helia/Crystal triangle (All this plot made me think about is educating Crystal on Magix affairs because there is no way a royal didn't find out about the Sky/Diaspro breakup, also her stupid awesome memory healing power of extreme irrelevance).

Then there's Stella's baby episode which is inconsistent with her growth from 4 episodes back. I mean, you'd think somebody smart enough to help Aisha through her grief would be able to get over herself, especially since Stella has never acted this way ever.

The transformations... I'm surprised at how much I don't love Sirenix, but Harmonix is great. Also I'm convinced they were switched because Harmonix would be a pain to animate in CGI (Look at Daphne and look at Harmonix, they have much more in common that Sirenix). The music is solid for both but I feel like Harmonix is a better song as a whole. These should have been the lead singles for the season (Maybe including the theme song), but I'm pretty sure they're still not available for purchase anywhere yet. I'm just glad I never have to hear that Believix music again, it's been way to long since we had something to listen to.

I'd honestly rather have a season without all this cute nonsense if they're not going to be plot relevant. The Pixies were hit and miss but everything now is just terrible. Though I'm impressed that Trittannus at 'full power' can still be beat by these tiny things.

The girls themselves... Bloom is annoying but her voice actor makes it bearable with a good emotional performance, Aisha is awesome (and carrying the entire season), Stella was great until her baby episode, Flora needs to start being a person, Musa's mother needs to become relevant while Riven dies in a fire or something and Techna is cool, but I'm getting this slightly sexist vibe from her need to have Timmy solve all her tech-problems despite being the 'Smart' one.

Episode 14 got leaked on Itunes. Pretty meh episode honestly. Since the episode hasn't actually aired yet, spoilers are up.

Too much Captain Planet. The preachiness is really starting to grate now. Thankfully it looks like it's not going to appear that much more. Stella is being an idiot again. She needs to learn that not everything she makes is going to end up being successful, especially if she thinks it up on the spot.

This does not help Tritannus's villain credentials one bit. He hasn't seem to have actually planned anything out aside from enter Infinite Ocean, get Emperor's Throne, ???, profit. The Sirenix curse is going to kick everybody in the butt eventually, probably at an inopportune time. Tritannus is still relying on the Trix to get anything done, so that's not helpful. Icy seems to be sticking with Tritannus as long as he's got a shot at getting anything. Darcy and Stormy continue to have nothing better to do other than follow them. They'd still be numbers 3 and 4 if Tritannus actually won, so they don't have much to complain about in that regard.

The Winx are still plainly stronger than Tritannus plus Trix. Which makes it really irritating that they just let them go. They could end this whole chase right now! Tritannus is still on the run, which indicates even he isn't confident of his ability to take them on. As for the brainwashed mermaids, they can still shoot between them. Or over and below them. There's only four mermaids, while there's six Winx. Can't they at least follow him or something?

Nice to know what the Infinite Ocean actually has, especially considering not even Darcy knew what it had. It's basically got powerful artifacts that can be used to affect everything else in the Magic Dimension. A competent villain could easily use this to his advantage. Or even competent heroes. The Infinite Ocean can be entered from anywhere, which is nice. Looks like the Selkies are staying there for now.

Garbage island. The Winx should really get a mass cleanup of that place asap. Maybe some powerful fairy that's living in Gardenia could do it while the Winx are doing other stuff? Where is Morgana anyway?

I have no real opinions on the CGI. 2D Sirenix is nice I guess. Overall, the episode has a bunch of problems similar to the ones that plagued the first half of the season. However, next episode looks interesting. Aisha is getting a cool sword. Tritannus finally goes for something big, even though it will probably make no logical sense. We're going to see Solaria and Radius again. More importantly, it looks like we're finally meeting Queen Luna, Stella's mother. Yay.

[up][up] They keep messing with Stella and then they dangle this in front of me. I guess I just have to wait and see the episode for myself.

IMO I think Stella is acting like a friend. She is a sweet person who has royal status. Different from Bloom who was Earthen raised and then discovered her bloodline much later.

Episode 15. I see some improvements, but the writing still is weak.

The episode recap clearly has no idea what it's saying. This pillar stuff hasn't even been mentioned yet.

What's Stella's problem exactly? Is the fashion thing lowering her overall confidence? Either way, it just seems really weird.

Good to see more of Aisha's parents. I wonder if Aisha is going to use that sword as an actual sword, or just use its special powers.

So the Pillars have their own Selkie guards. Well they're not worthless, but if something can reach the Infinite Ocean in the first place, it doesn't seem to be that difficult to get past them. The show is definitely leading up to Darcy and Stormy doing something. Tritannus doesn't care about them, but I don't think he treats them badly.

I swear, the Magic Dimension feels like it's made of tissue paper sometimes. It's not just Tritannus, Valtor gave it that feeling as well. Giving every planet a solar eclipse seems like a really weird thing to do, but whatever. Nice to see cameos of Oritel and Marion on Domino and Erendor on Eraklyon.

Nice to finally see Luna. It looked like she was in the palace before the eclipses started, which seems odd. We see that whatever happened between Radius and Luna affected Radius more than Luna, since he's still hostile to her. Luna herself certainly doesn't hate him.

Are some of the Selkie guards boys? It sounded that way to me. Darcy is using lightning attacks now. I guess Stormy has been giving her lessons. Once again the Winx overpower the Trix. Aisha has a point in that Icy and the others has been doing most of the fighting for Tritannus. It seems Icy really does care for Tritannus. As does he for her. Nice to see him get pissed, but he's still on the losing side. I'm more curious about what Darcy and Stormy feel. Bloom was right when she said Icy's behavior was weird.

Overall, not bad, but not great. Next episode has what seems to be the Pillar problem being fixed. Aisha is finally going to do something about the brainwashed mermaids.
