With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I now have the desire to have one as a pet. I see no one has suggested the Planeteers have animal partners/pets.
Well I joke that the monkey should be replaced by a robot penguin
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I think Mr. Choas' idea should be neither a Dolphin or a Red Panda, but an animal that is the last of his kind and he wants to destroy humanity out of revenge and so no other animal can go extinct becuase of humans.
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phphow about an animal we think is extinct than like the dodo or the woolly mammoth
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. Here's my version of Mr. Choas idea
A long time ago in Mauritius the last Dodo finds some alien technology that gives it super intellegence and immortality. That dodo now runs an organisation of eco-terrorists.
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpWait a minute...when was there a monkey?
Ma-ti had a pet monkey named Suchi. Then again, that monkey never did anything, so I suppose it's understandable that you forgot about him.
Are you kidding? The monkey was more useful than Ma-Ti was.
"Aren't you cold, Finn?"That's Miss chaos, but it could work
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I definitely don't remember any scenes with a monkey being useful.
Those things can't be trusted.
Master Shifu from Kung Fu Panda was a Red Panda.
And I like the idea of an evil animal, especially a cute one. Just to mess with the expectation that animal characters HAVE to be better than people in shows like this.
There was an evil Pink Dolphin in Breath Of Fire III. Funniest boss in the whole game!

ya but hes not cute
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.Hey, I just came up with my own version of CPATP. Check it out:
In my take, Gaia isn't remotely human, she only takes that form to interface with humans (and in fact takes several different ones, including animals, before settling in the more classic Mother Earth one.) She also isn't as nice as the original, she oftens snarks about humans.
The series begins when Dr. Blight, who was driven mad by an accident, creates a monster out of pollutants. The creature (my version of Captain pollution) goes on a destructive rampage, drawing Gaia's attention. She creates The Protector, a being composed of the Five Mystical Elements to fight it. But he loses, and is shattered into pieces!!
The pieces (five gemstones) are then found by five human children, whose inner strengths reactivate them. They also... 'taint' them, so that when they fuse together again, the protector takes on a more superhero like form, and a personality with aspects of all five kids. They nickname it "Captain Planet". With their help, CP defeats the pollution monster, and Gaia contacts them and decides to allow the children to keep the fragments (in rings) so they can keep fighting similar menaces... and so she can test if the influence of humans on The Protector is a good thing or not. Maybe even learn by herself to like the humans as well.
What do you think?
Yes, I love it!
Dude no, I wouldn't be able to take it seriously if they did.
....did you even watch?
Yes, yes I did.
We got more Don Cheadle Captain Planet!

A very common complaint I hear about the show is that all the Planeteers are bland outside Wheeler, who is just flawed to be the Idiot of the Week. In which case maybe something of a Sanity Ball rotation would work better, something sort of like Friendship Is Magic where each of them takes turns having their shortcomings play into the plot and developing and learning from them, while another gets redeeming moments from being the voice of reason.

That's not the proper term for Wheeler! The proper term is "Dumb White Guy Who Always Says And Does The Wrong Thing!" : D
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Sounds right to me. Dumb white man smart not white man
Man Random Chaos is crazy.
