Anyone else noticing that this story is introducing a lot of... dark elements into it?

Yup.

I predicted this though, don't worry. I have a way for y'all to earn your happy ending.

It won't necessarily be easy though. You will have to battle the darkest demons I and the rest of the internet can come up with first.

And quick question, is it possible for our other self to get out of control (built up emotions, etc.) and we will be forced to subdue them? Like in the BRS ova?

Hm, alright, was just wondering is all.

You have to really be doing something wrong for your Paradox to rip away from you and start rebelling.

Oh, I didn't mean rip away from the person's body. You know in the Ova how Yuu's other self took control of her body, well like something like that. The person could be an unexpected boss or something.

That's what happens when you hit Repression 8.

Actually, Dead Master isn't a Paradox Black at all, she's an entity native to the Other World who possessed Yomi and became her Paradox Black by force.

That's how I interpret it, anyway. Note how Black Rock Shooter killed Dead Master, but Yomi was unscathed.

ANYWAY. I let Repression recover pretty quick, so y'know, avoiding that should not be too hard. If it is, I'll make rule adjustments.

Well it's not that she couldn't perform the punch, it's just that she wouldn't.

By the way, I was going to let you figure this out on your own, but I think I'll say. Your teacher is one of the very few, possibly the only human in the regular world who you can trust fully.

She'll also be serving as my in-game advice dispenser. She doesn't necessarily fully understand the situation, but she will try to give you the best advice she can.

Ah, I was kinda thinking she was going to be The Star★Maiden.

So, will she have any understanding of the Otherworld, or just be an average human, or is all that a secret?

I was going to have her be the Star Maiden, but that's just too easy, now isn't it?
