Star Wars Galaxies dying by end of year

Ok. You only need one of the original C Ds for an Empire divided. Downloads and illegal copies wont work, and are banned. Anythings else is overkill.

I tried a popular private server, Galaxies Reborn. Setting it all up went smoothly, (I have a game disc from back in the day) but the server is missing lots of features, for example the ability to become a Jedi. Right now they're in a testing phase with plans for a server wipe once everything is set up properly. Honestly, it could be years before that happens.

I tried the emulator.

Since I only played post-NGE, the game felt totally foreign to me. Plus, after playing RIFT for all of five minutes, the graphics look extremely dated.

So despite my sadness of the game getting the short end of the stick by Lucasarts, I've moved on.

...would've been nice if it could be reborn, with a modern look and stuff, though. Tatooine double sunsets with the Force theme playing in the background totally rocked.

And now, if you'll excuse me, I need a tissue.
