The misuse seems to just be you misunderstanding this trope and Form-Fitting Wardrobe. Tight jeans are specifically this trope according to the description. Form-Fitting Wardrobe is when clothes that shouldn't be formfitting somehow are, like fur coats. Jeans which can actually be skin tight in real life don't qualify for Form-Fitting Wardrobe. They're Painted-On Pants.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAhh? I was under the impression that this was more like where they are so tight and thin that they actually show off muscle tone (like if they were painted on) the said jean examples on the page dont actually show that and seem to fit with the "Form-Fitting Wardrobe is for when clothing clings like this but is made of materials that shouldn't" thats on the page.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!No, it's not something that specifically looks like body paint, extremely tight pants count.
Fight smart, not fair.Bah my bad there.... This trope really came off wrong in the Image Picking thread then.
What about the full body outfit then? I mean Spy Catsuit is not that exactly that, as it is for Spies only... Should we YKTTW a Wet Suit type outfit trope for this?

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I don't know. That has nothing to really do with this trope. Is there something else on this trope or can we lock it?
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickWell there was a ton of confusion and such in the image picking thread [1] so I decided open a thread on it... sorry.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I'll holler for a lock.

This trope right now has several problems.
- Misuse: There are quite a few examples of Tight Jeans and such which are just Form-Fitting Wardrobe not quite the ones that look like they are painted on but are actual real clothing.
- It says that full body ones go to Spy Cat Suit but Spy Cat Suit is restricted to just that, spy outfits. and there are still examples of that on the page such as Metal Gear Solid.
