He often wandered around his room, searching for meaning... until one day when...
He learned a dreadful secret, regarding the very nature of reality.
He tried to keep it to himself, and he did. "Come down dear" called his mother. He would have to do it later.
"Coming mom" Said the boy as he raced to the kitchen.

Once he reached the kitchen, he noticed a strange trench coat wearing man siting at their table.
"Hello," he said, coyly. "I am Mr. Man. I'm here to save the Earth, and I need your help."

The man then stood from his chair, "Look, we need your knowledge. Come with me.", A portal then sprang up behind him.

A voice came out saying "Yum."
:smug:
"Of course, Satsuki-sama."
And then the portal ate him, leaving his ghost behind.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

The boy then looked down. To his surprise, he was now a ghost, "What the heck was that for?!"
"I am your enemy from the future!" said the man. "You may know me today, as Derek."

"The time for you to fight me is not now. Seek the point where waters meet but never mix. It is there, you will fight me." Says Derek.
