Adventurer: "Used to have tools that could be used to discern lies and motives... oh well. We'll keep an eye on them, that's for sure. Any of you military folk have any equipment for this?"

Karima: I have...a knife!!! Torture always works for me

Yuri: Herb called the "Pure leaf". Makes you calmer. Use it for when I had to get into protracted fights with demons, or if I was fused with a demon for a real long time.

Adriana: "Sounds usef- you fused with demons?"

Adventurer: "They seem a mite too powerful to capture and torture... and I abide by the Minetown Conventions. So no, no torture, if you please..."

Hakurei Miko: "Can I of have some of that, please?"

-*Far from town, a base on treads◊ is rolling towards the the town at a steady pace*

Yuri: Yyyyyyyyyyeah. You thought I fought demons with nothing but my bare hands, eh?

-Hands Hakurei Miko a wad of Pure leaves-

-Almost immediately, a lone MQ-1 Predator spy drone flying at 1000 feet picks up the rolling base and alerts the 141 about it. The 141 send a heads-up to Price.-

Price: -radio squawks- Oh boy... give me a second... -heads off to have a chat with the radio-

Karima: Can I still stab them if we have to fight?

-On top of the town hall, Mother is tending to Spirit's wounds while Son keeps watch. He spots the base-

Son: "... You're not going to believe this, Mom."

-Mother rushes over and looks through-

Mother: "... Fuck!"

-The two children cover up Spirit with a blanket and hide her inside before running off to intercept the crawler-

Adriana: "It would be awesome if you did. So you fight demons with their own power?"

-Price returns inside-

Price: Alright, you muppets. We've got what looks like a big fucking tank... thing. Predator picked it up a minute ago, took pictures, and sent them to the 141 outpost here. They were kind enough to warn us. We're not sure what its intentions are, but all suggestions point to it heading towards the town at a steady speed. The techs say it'll be here within the hour at most.

Yuri: @Adriana Well, I do both, really. Takes a lot of mental fortitude to handle clothing one's spirit in the body of a demon.

Metallux : A mobile base?

-At the crash site the repairs on the ship are going well, especially with all the nod working on it-

-Five self-loading artillery pieces set up at the 141 outpost. They get continual attack vectors on the base but do not fire.-

Adventurer: "Hm... well then."

Adriana: "I guess something is about to give, then. Any last stuff you want from my larders before you all head off?"

-The two urchins left stand in the crawlers path. They realize that it would be impossible to contact whatever is inside-

Karima: Do you have lemonade?

Price: -looks at Metallux- That's fairly redundant, but yeah. Getting updates, they're saying it's large enough to contain a large detachment of troops. Not to mention the weapons already mounted.

Soap: -pulls the AT 4-HS off his back- It won't do much, but it'll help. -heads up to the roof-

Ghost: Keeping an eye on it. It's approaching steady.

Yuri: ...Gimme some more of that horse meat, if ya can. That was some good tasting stuff.

Hakurei Miko: *She looks at the mobile base coming over the horizon* "Oh...my..."

-*At the horizon, the mobile base is crawling towards the town, the sheer size of it puts AT-ATs to shame*

-*At the outposts, the marines are fueling up the Vertibirds and ready to strike the mobile base from the air*

Ghost: ...fuck that's big. Sorry Soap, A T4s aren't going to cut this. We're gonna need artillery.

Soap: -checks the radio- We need more artillery pieces!

-At the base, all ten self-loading artillery guns prepare to fire. All lock in vectors on the mobile base. Several F-35 Lightning II fighters and AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopters are fueling and loading up.-

-Adriana passes everyone what they wanted, in bags so they can bring it along-

"... Good luck." -She smiles and opens the inn's entrance into the underground network before vanishing into it-

Adventurer: "Shall we?"

-Lirun looks up from her position at the crashed ship the NOD are refurbishing and sees the crawler. She radios the main base of NOD-

"We've got trouble, looks like."

-The urchins run back and prepare to hit the town alarm-

Sonia : @ Lirun : Sister Lirun, the ship is repaired, we must take it to the base imdietly, do you wish to join us, or do you have a different mode of transport.
