Toya:-Looks outside the shop and notices Roach. A bit confused, unlocks the door-

Yes? Er, if you want to buy a book, you'll have to come tomorrow, I'm afraid...

-Her black cat, Bern, walks up to Toya's side and just stares at Roach-

Roach: Ma'am, I'm not here to buy a book. I'm here on a matter of... how would you put it... security, I guess.

Toya: Security? Could you please elaborate on that?

Mr. House: "I was about to say farewell. Hmph..." *He finishes his live call*

Karen: *She blinks once then follows Soap to the bookstore. She said nothing, reflecting her empty cybernetic eyes.* "........"

Roach: Ma'am, do you have something that can be best described as a "key"? Not to the store.

Toya: Well, yes, I have keys in my possessio-

-Looks up at Karen, confused-

Er, are you with Mr. Roach here?

Bern:-Raises her back and hisses loudly at Karen-

Karen: *She nods at Toya while ignoring Bern*

Roach: Much as I hate to say it, she is. Now, this key is apparently integral to something called the "Great Game", where the apparent prize for getting all of the keys or something is a wish. There's two or three parties in this, and we've got no idea whether or not they're openly hostile. We're giving one of the keys to a second, mostly non-hostile party so that we'll be left alone.

Karen: "It's a win-win situation, you don't have to worry about our enemies once you give me the keys."

Toya:-Sighs deeply-

...I already knew all of that, Mr. Roach, and I want no part of this game of yours. Which is why I've taken the keys myself. So that you people can search all you want for those worthless trinkets till you realize the worthlessness of your petty game and leave me alone to sell my books in peace.

And as much as you say "Win-win", there's indeed a side that loses. Namely, all the people caught up in this ridiculous mockery you call a "game". Are you working with one of these teams now, Mr. Roach? To negotiate? Or as muscle?

Roach: Miss... I understand completely. But. The thing is, they're not just associating you as the third party. They're associating ALL OF US as the third party. And if the first party is hostile, we're all going to pay the price. I have already, when Ghost died. He was my blood brother, and he died a completely fucking worthless death. I'm not sure whether or not it was the fifty cals spearing through his chest that killed him, or if it was the triple-rocket salvo that ended him, but that doesn't matter. He's dead. Nothing can bring him back. It hurts every day, just to wake up, put on my brother's mask in rememberance, and do my job. -sigh- At the very least, please clarify that YOU'RE the third party and that WE aren't.

PLEASE, Miss. I don't want anyone else to die.

...Fine. I am the third party. I hold two of the keys to your "Great" game. And I've little interest in participating. So, shoo please. Come back in the morning if you wish to purchase a book.

Roach: -looks at Karen- Let it go. You'll probably get the key some other time. Remember, good things do come to those who wait for them.

-Back in the lobby, as soon as everything is set up...-

Soap: Alright Mr. House, we failed to get the keys back, but we're going to pass on a message to you and I want it passed on to every other member who's a part of the Great Game. Record this one, now would you?

Karen: "It's for you own good. You don't want mercs break in here and take them by force, don't you?" *To Roach*"Hmph, very well." *She sent the message to Mr. House. Her voice is robotic at the moment* "Message sent."

Soap: Hello, players of the Great Game. My name is Captain Soap Mac Tavish of the Task Force 141. I'm going to provide a simple and succinct message. Toya Hachijo is the only member of the third party. Neither me, nor the rest of the 141, nor anyone else in the group we are with are or want to be members in this game. We've already had one man die an ignominious and undeserved death. He was a member of my family. I don't plan to lose anyone else in this group. The rule is simple: if you hurt ANY member of this group, that is not a member of the third party, I will personally hunt you down, kill you, and spit on your graves. I never underestimate, and neither should you. DON'T think I can't or won't do it. I will. Thank you for your time. -message ends>

Karen: *She doesn't look intimidated due to emotional suppressors inserted into her brain, her expression is pure stoic* "......"

Other Kanako: *She sighs* (What a pointless trinket...) *She look at her key with a bored look*

Toya:-Doesn't regard Karen's emotionless face in the slightest as she closes her shop. She just...sits there, in one of her chairs, feeling extremely irritated that Roach sought her only to sell her out to a bunch of infantile fools (in her mind, at least)-

Mr. House: *He sent a reply through Karen's eye* "Very well but I won't restrain my allies if they decided to hunt you down, I don't have any jurisdiction over them but I will honor your conditions, mark my words."

Soap: If they hunt us down, consider what allies you have dead.

Mr. House: "One my allies goes by the name of Remilia Scarlet. I don't know much about her but from the information I've gathered about her, she's a powerful vampire from a mysterious land. She's not much of a cooperative player since she had lost her key very early in the game. You can do whatever you want with her if you cross paths with her, she's more of a burden than an ally in my opinion. As for the rest, the same, they are usually backstabbers, morons, dead weight, psychos, or all of the above. This game is tiring me and it's two months overdue for a climax."

Other Reimu: "Remilia?!"
