Ive immediately hit the problem where I've been waiting for this for so long that all my ideas on how they'll integrate the three J mechs are going to be quashed by the reality.
Also, finally decided to buy OG 2 today before finding out about this game. Eerie!
It's just the regular SRX. And no, we don't know the V As yet. The name is actually the new chara designer's (Miho Itoi, for the record).
Here it is
I know it was just a teaser but that was still wholly unsatisfying

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Lovely! Do keep us apprised from time to time, if you would.
seeing my beloved Granteed in full HD.
- sobs tears of joy*
I will.
Damn i forgot to comment on the teaser!
Damn the animation for Granteed was awesome, (Same for that robot from GC with those Drills.) Really looking forward to Granteed Dracodeus. And it looks like Touya is being voiced by Mamoru Miyano, Wich is a plus for me.

"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.also excited for MX. I loved it. and it;d be nice to have SOME format where a full translation of the dendoh plot exists
Welp, finally broke down and ordered myself a copy of A Portable.
Should be coming in within the week.
So here's something interesting.

A Chinese trailer for the new OG game... with an ESRB Rating Pending in the corner.
I am going to assume that was a mistake. I have long since given up hope for even an OG game to get an official release.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.The GBA OG games got official releases, for what that's worth.
My gut says its a mistake.
My heart is nonetheless jumping.
also isnt that first icon a japanese version of the PEGI system?, cuz thats not a CERO rating, thats for sure.

I don't want to be hyped but after getting into Super Robot Wars last year I can't deny that I'm fairly hyped about a possible English release of this game.
My problem with even getting a stateside release of OG 3 is that, well, we never actually got OGS 2 and Gaiden. We're basically missing two giant chapters of the overall story, and while I'm not sure if that really matters in the grand scheme, (because from what I've heard, OG's story gets pretty darn convoluted after the first few games,) it would still be nice to get to play all of the previous games as opposed to just leaping ahead from the second game to the fifth.

There's a possibility that they get re-released in PSN and then translated there. But I'm not holding my breath.
Dudes, I don't even care about missing out on earlier games.
I just want Calvina to come stateside... <animesque super-shiny eyes of hope>
I'd be importing the game myself. For SRW, I can afford expensive shit!
They are a few hints that maybe possibly they might be trying to localize it. But I wouldn't hold my breath.
Started playing A Portable.
Picked Lamia in the pink mecha.
How do I get her strongest attack to be selectable? Can't use it, even with sufficient EN and Will.
You have to level her up. Advance and A Portable keep certain mechs' strongest attacks locked until the pilot is a certain level. It's kinda weird and most SRW games just keep the attacks hidden before a specific event.

Ah, okay.
For the record, I'm on the second stage. I've already lost all of the Mazinsaga support units, though I'm down to just one or two more enemies to go.
Don't forget about those Spirit Commands. Ones that boost Hit and Evade chances are near essential later on, but make the earlier stages easier as well. I've never played A of A Portable, so that's about all the advice I can give.
Yeah, I'm already getting some decent mileage out of Alert.
Not quite so much with Focus yet, though hopefully that'll change soon enough.
Nice, just what I needed to elongate the lifespan of my PS 3.
OK, Calvina might be in, but... where's Festenia?
Is there any confirmation on who voices who?
Also, is that Banpreios on top right corner? Also probably because Daizengar on cover, they might be taking Sanger as the official rival of Baran instead of Touma.
Also I may be proven wrong because the text is there, and it's too small to see who voices who, but I'm gonna guess that Jun Fukuyama would be the one doing Touya.
