Alright, thanks for fixing that and clearing that up. :) Does that mean it's approved now?

@ Napoleana's Utility—Possibly the trigger clause for her Utility is "When an enemy's Attack ability ends"? Not sure what to make of the second movement phase, though. Maybe she just gains an additional movement point her next turn?

Well apparently I can approve characters too, but the system we've been doing is I approve the abilities and Parable then approves the entire character.

[up]The main problem is there's no way to give her a second movement. I was thinkign about a movement bonus, but not too sure in what scenario to implement it...

Wait I think I got something...

Hm. Isn't there some sort of Hit and Run Mechanic? Even a half movement after an enemy disengages or something?

I suggested it because I assumed that'd be pretty much what is being used, though I can see the flaws [in so far as it doesn't necessarily include the "Run" aspect so much as "Pursue"]

[up]Again, the problem would be that to give an extra movement, I'd have to stop on the middle of rolling my turn, so effectively everyone has to wait not just for me, bot for me to post twice and Spain once before we can continue the game.

Ability Ruling: Napoleona du Bonaparte

  • Indirect Warfare: +1 to attack on units who attacked a target other than Napoleona last turn.
  • Manoeuvre De Derrière: Attacks on Napoleona receive -1 if Napoleona is adjacent to 2 or more enemy units
  • I Shall Never Lose a Minute: When an enemy adjacent to Napoleona moves away, Napoleona does not incur movement penalties along the enemy's movement path next turn.
Needs a weapon class. Cannot enter combat until selected.

This is now the third person with that attack ability lol. People like surprise attacks X3

Hm. I'd say it's more supposed to represent Napoleon's habit of letting a force retreat so he could throw his armies elsewhere.

So... she's not supposed to be a pursuit unit at all?

I'd recommend a completely different ability then, myself, but it's up to you (two). Spain, think that Utility ruling is good or would you like to try another?

More Skirmish/Mobility; Picking off weaker looking units and boxing in enemies.

Um, I don't know. .__.

Faux helped me make these, I'm not sure.

Anyway, give Napoleona a musket for a weapon. Or something similar.

Something like the opposite then (for 'boxing in' enemies)?

  • Utility: Enemies adjacent to Napoleona must roll to move. On a 3 or 4 enemy can only move one hex. On a 1 or 2 movement fails.
  • Movement: 6
  • Weapon Class: Long Gun

Hm. I was thinking differently [again let them retreat engage another], but Spain seems okay with it and I'd rather not clog up the thread with trivialities.
