Marvel and DC used to have a period where they actually were cool with each other. But after Warner's sworn enemy Disney bought Marvel, and Quesada and Didio became head honchos, their differences became worse than ever.

IIRC Pearlman helmed the compnay during the years of coexistence with DC.

It's telling Bob Harras, Marvel's chief editor under Pearlman, now holds a lot of power in DC.

New ViViD chapter! And now I need to try and puzzle out the Mid-Childan education system. Here's how I'm guessing:

Compulsory education is required up until age 15 or so (I don't know when Harry's birthday is in comparison to their school year, so it's hard to say how many years there are.) Harry is in her last year of classes. After this, there's supplemental education called masters courses. These are almost certainly not analogous to Earth master degree programs. Compared to the school programs, there's a lot more leeway on how long it takes you and when you do it (which is how Sieg can be in the middle of hers while still spending a good chunk of time training in the middle of nowhere.) So, Victoria at age 17 has finished hers, while Micaiah, who is 18, is almost done with hers (going to assume she either took studies that require more time, or possibly took a break.) Sieg and Els, at 16, are in the middle of their studies.

This probably means that in canon, Nanoha, Fate, and Hayate were able to complete Mid-Childan higher education, even if they only finished high school on Earth.

Nanoha had been well known in magical circles for quite some time, both as a mage and as a trainer of mages. "The girls in the miniskirted barrier jackets claim to be the reincarnations of your elite guard – some of whom apparently decided I was holding you prisoner when I wouldn't let them speak to you when they never explained why they wanted to. The man who attacked the wedding was apparently sent by a woman named Beryl, who supposedly destroyed your alleged kingdom in the past, and wants to do it again."

A line of ice ran down Nanoha's spine. That had been the name of the woman who had tried to kill her in her dream. That nightmare was becoming even more disturbing than it had seemed when she first awoke. "But I've never even heard of them before now."

"And they don't care. I've asked Yuuno to look into the story of the first war against this Dark Kingdom, hopefully he'll be able to find something out. Hayate is looking to see if she can get clearance to bring the Wolkenritter here to deal with the situation, which she'll probably get if Yuuno can find any records confirming what I was told. If she can't, Vita will probably take some leave time and show up anyway."

Nanoha sighed. It looked like her first vacation in years had come to a premature end

And the question is How would react to this 2814 Nanoha knowing that even in parallel universes the magical girls taking vacations is cursed? This could make for an interesting future Crisis on the Infinite Earths

There was an attempt at a MGLN crisis crossover story once (Which did include 2814 and White Devil). It never made it past chapter 1.

If I ever get the timeline for enough, I'm of course doing a crisis crossover. I'm thinking of calling it 'Nanoverse'. It's have Spider!Nanoha, Flash!Nanoha, Kamen Rider!Nanoha, Super Sentai!Nanoha, Gatchaman!Nanoha, Evil!Nanoha, Wearing The Cape!Nanoha, Tailgear!Nanoha, Space Sheriff!Nanoha, and if he'll let me borrow it, OM's Bible Black!Nanoha. Poor Triangle Heart 3!Nanoha will find herself wondering why all other versions of her are apparently super-powered and crazy. In the end, it'll turn out their enemy is Overlord!Nanoha, who's been tricked into doing so by Asagi Asagiri so she can have screentime.

Well, even Triangle Heart Nanoha could put the terror of herself into the other employees, and was apparently running around with fairies and fighting Chrono or something.

Yes, but all things considered, she'd still consider herself the sane one.

INNOCENT!Nanoha would probably agree with her, despite all she's guilty of is being very enthusiastic about a VR card game.

You could borrow Shaun Garin's SPD Nanoha, bissek's Sailor Nanoha, Lone Wolf 218's Lo S Nanoha, Nanya's Nanoha Inverse, Lupine Horror's Reinforced Nanoha, sakurademonalchemist's different versions of Nanoha and DKN's Teana's Travel Nanoha whose power levels puts her in the same league that Naruto and Goku. That's a really scary though

Pretty sure you'd need to get permission from all those people first. And approval on what the characters do. At least that's what I do when I write with other people's OCs.

Okay, just found a very compelling reason to NEVER do a Marvel crossover. I just found that... THE MARVEL UNIVERSE IS SET IN PHINEAS AND FERB! AND THAT'S TERRIBLE!

If that's the problem I'm pretty sure DC has more than its share of embarrassing crossovers.

I think that the official designation to the crossover is the Earth-12041 that is the same of the 2010's animated universe. As for DC embarrassing crossovers I only have five words "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" that in my opinion was an insult to fans of Batman and has the worst version of Aquaman in all history
