You know what. Trying to publish something on deviantArt and Fictionpress is hard!

You have to download and upload, make sure all the files and pictures are the right size. Grrrr...

Here. For all of your pleasure, an essay I once wrote for English at the beginning of the year. Tell me what you think and be brutal.

Life Is Like a Seed

A seed, when dug into tender soil, given gentke care in the form of water, sunshine, and peaceful weather, may grow, reaching up out of the soil, towards the sky, growing ten stories tall, living, existing, given a chance.

However, the seed may also die before it gets its chance to spread its roots and reach out its branches, whether its because it didn't get enough sunshine or love, it was given enough of these things or more, but just wasn't given the chance to exist.

Again, however, there are seeds planted in worse conditions, rough soil, and barely any water, too little or too much light, who somehow manage to push up through the dirt and past the weeds, because they wanted that chance to exist bad enough.

Also, my apologies if I have posted this on this forum before.

This is an essay? It seems more like a poetic work of prose to me. I'm not sure what to make of it.
