This I have to know more about.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Evidently one of the hot new meme trends is photoshopping Foghorn Leghorn into animes. One example here, and if you look on Twitter there's a lot more...

How would you all react if they decided to make a Looney Tunes anime?
Eric Bauza has posted a voice recording of one of these anime Foghorn memes on Twitter here: https://x.com/bauzilla/status/1782847606592532864?s=46&t=7YT7yMPCw2VMMwQUxWj5_A
Actually, he’s posting a few. This and the last one is Dragon Ball: https://x.com/bauzilla/status/1782844117736910961?s=46&t=7YT7yMPCw2VMMwQUxWj5_A

Loonatics Unleashed doesn’t count?

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. That looked more like their attempt at making something like the X-Men, really.
Wake me up at your own risk."No wonder you're a Saiyan, all talk and no show," is such a great line.
To think, a few years back, Doobus Goobus made a video of Foghorn ragging on anime.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire. They don’t think the Looney Tunes are popular enough so they decided to cast Zendaya to voice Lola Bunny at the last minute.

If I'm being honest, I think the latest generations just prefer more serialized story telling to wacky shorts. If you look at some of the more popular cartoons in the semi-recent years, they all tend to focus hard on character development and serialized story telling.
I think that may be why Looniversity took a more down to earth approach as to the original show. Make it more character focused than gag focused. The real problem is most of the Looney Tunes gimmicks don't really work for serialized story telling, as the many attempts in the past have shown.
... Although a Looney Tunes take on a DuckTales (1987) would be interesting.
My dA: https://www.deviantart.com/toko90sThe Looney Tunes popularity "problem" is easily resolved if they simply put the classic cartoons in a place kids can actually find them, meaning Cartoon Network (basic cable) and YouTube. People talk like the Tunes recently became irrelevant, but they are in fact as close to timeless as any media property can realistically hope to get and the reason they were a cultural touchstone for ninety years is that kids had easy access to them.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?They are in a place kids can see, Me TV, and kids have actually sent fanart too!

New theme music also a boxLe Bron Space Jam and Looniversity are both at fault for censoring and restricting them to just be good moral compasses as opposed to just being anarchic. Making them a happy family working together instead of going against each others throats like The Bugs Bunny Show in the 1960s. Brand sanitization is my biggest fair. The only characters that are not violent or have a checkered past are Tweety and Lola Bunny.
Tiny Toon Adventures also did that too. Same with The Looney Tunes Show.
Tbh, having more character focused stories vs gag centric stories was always Tiny Toons’ thing. It’s the primary thing that I’d argue sets it apart from Animaniacs, which was a staunchly gag and formula centric series.
So the show would have feel good slice of life story episodes, or Aesop focused adventures about friendship and so on - it had shorts episodes, but they were more occasional - vs Animaniacs which usually ruthlessly mocked such things.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I know I got flack for it the last time I said something like this, but Looniversity is actually a success, especially with children. Looneyversity is on the Top 10 for CN and Max's kids show chart. Adults have Adult Swim for themselves, cant we just treat the kids show as a kids show? Do we REALLY NEED to go "I as an adult HATE this kids show and thus its a flop."
I will readily admit NO ONE here said anything like that but I still hope seeing this post will give people pause and rethink their position to a more reasonable one.

I agree, though, that it's ridiculous to refer to a show as a failure when it's clearly not. But, if the show is a success, it's not like the grousing of adults who don't like it is going to hurt it in any way (which is why those Teen Titans Go episodes where they lampoon complaining adult fans strike me as a seriously odd and, frankly, kind of childish response).

I never said anyone is not entitled to their opinion, or even disagreed with anyone who dislikes the show, but the show is not a flop with its intended demographic and that's all I objected to.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.WB animation has a long history of making fun of their more caustic adult fans.
Obsessive adult Tiny Toons fans in particular led to a lot of piss takes directed at the adult fandom in both Animaniacs and Freakazoid. Even BTAS got in on the act on occasion.
Generally, if you make yourself a target, a comic is going to shoot an arrow at you for laughs and those fans - including the TTG hatedom - generally did make pretty large targets of themselves.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I loved that skit.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here. With Animaniacs, they previewed the Please Please Please Get a Life Foundation skit to fans who came to visit in 1995, and they got the joke and took it in good humor.
The joke about "The World's Biggest Tiny Toon Fan" in Night Ghoulery, however...

Gee, thanks. Never mind then, I realized it's not worth the effort anyway.
