Primarily?
Attack for Mario and Defense for Luigi...their stats start out like that anyway.
Switch it up though, those bonuses don't get good if you don't.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. From what I remember, Stache, Attack, and BP, but only if you get really good with dodging enemy attacks.
Stache is a good one because it also lowers the prices of items in shops along with increasing crit chance.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Anything but speed, really. If you focus only on one stat, the bonuses will get lower and lower, so change it up every level.
Mario excels in Attack, Speed, and BP, while Luigi excels in HP, Defense, and Stache. You can, of course, use the bonuses to even this out more. I'd definitely recommend investing in Luigi's Attack, at least, he starts to lag behind pretty far if you don't and there's some areas where you play as him alone.
Ultimately, you should also consider your playstyle as well. If you never get hit much, then Defense and HP have little use for you.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Super Mario Land 2 was one of the first video games I played, and my oldest piece of nostalgia. I just looked up a playthrough on youtube, and while the graphics were as good as I remembered I felt a huge sense "How did I ever find this difficult?" The player is obviously very experienced, but enemies are slow, the power-ups are generous and bosses go down in a few hits. Yet I progressed so slowly and died so often it was a while before I realised that Game Over lost you the coins. (I never finished it, think I borrowed it from a friend.)
Does anyone recall trouble with the game or was I just that unskilled?
A blog that gets updated on a geological timescale.I didn't have any trouble beating it when I played it. The only trouble I did has it that the physics were a little weird.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I always did too. Always put it into easy mode when I was a kid. Never finished the game either, always got my ass beat in Wario's Castle even with the Super Carrot/bunny ears.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I've always wondered what the deal was with Bowser's multicolored texture on his final boss model in Super Mario 64. It definitely looked cool at the time, but looking at it now, I wonder if they were messing around with the hardware at the time.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.That's probably what it was, just showing off the hardware and all. Might as well do it if you can. Makes the game look cooler.
Its too bad the effect wasn't replicated in the DS version. Would've been cool to have a rainbow colored Bowser, only now the filter shimmers and moves around via a conveyor belt effect. So long, gay Bowser indeed.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.In your opinion, what's the best rendition of the SMB overworld theme?
My favorite is Princess Peach's Castle (Melee).

The Super Mario 64 title theme version is one to me.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I like the version from the Super Mario Bros Super Show, once you ignore the rapping part.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatOn a similar note, here's my favorite.
My favorite version of the SMB theme? The version from Princess Peach's Castle in Melee is certainly up there (I'm actually a little disappointed Nintendo hasn't reused that arrangement elsewhere).
I'm also a fan of the version from Fortune Street, and the orchestral version that Sonic and Mario Olympics uses for the figure skating event. But my absolute favorite is this one:
In which I never realize until now how much I've been waiting for Smash to do an arrangement of the SMW Overworld theme (as apposed to the Athletic theme, like Melee, which is awesome too but doesn't hold quite the same special place in my heart). I think my heart leaped when the Olympics games did one.
Also, I'll have to take a listen with some headphones, but so far I'm glad that the Wii-U music sounds a bit better than the 3DS music.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm surprised we haven't gotten any news on Mario Maker in that last Direct. I really would have liked to see more art styles and if the game has been expanded over the initial beta shown at E3.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! So as it would turn out, Treasure Tracker is a prequel to 3D World. Continuity, in my Super Mario Bros?
