I want to live in Gensokyo!
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahWell it was meant to be serious I'm sure but with such an arbitrary list how can it not get silly?
Anyway, I'm all for Mars Federation.
No love for Palestine?
I'm with Carciofus on this one.

And better than thy stroke; why swellest thou then? The Duchy of Zeon
That'll teach those gravity-huggers not to mess with the best.
The Basque country. And Catalonia. And Kurdistan. And Palestine. Independent Kashmir would be nice too. And don't forget Chechnya. To put it short, I support every single separatist movement in the world. I'm an ethnic minority in my own country, so I can totally feel those people's pain.

tvtrope land, where people everywhere try to be as Genre Savvy as possible.
While we're in a light discussion mode, Narnia.
Now using Trivialis handle.Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia.
Corsica, just so they stop bugging us. But we cut the subventions as well.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Not a fan of nations for nations sake (especially Kashmir), but here's my list of nations that I think that should exist:
- United Romania (Romania-Moldova)
- A Unified Eastern Slav State (Belarus-Ukraine-Russia)
- Livonia (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania)
- Greater Afghanistan (Afghanistan-Tajikistan-Western Pakistan)
- Greater Arabia (Arab Peninsula)
- East African Federation (that one is actually on the way in 2015...Uganda-Rwanda-Burundi-Tanzania-Kenya...possibly South Sudan)
- Greater India (Eastern Pakistan-India-Bangladesh-Nepal-Sri Lanka)
- Greater South Africa (S. Africa-Namibia-Botswana)
- Greater Congo (DRC-RC-Central Africa-Angola-Gabon)
- A truely federal and democratic Yugoslavia (barring that, restored monarchies in Montenegro and Serbia and with Macedonia annexed between Serbia and Bulgaria...or just Bulgaria)
- A united Jordan-Syria state (under the Jordanians)
- United Maghreb (Morroco-Algeria-Western Sahara-Malian Desert-Mauritania-Tunisia)
- Reunified Central America
- A united Turkestan state (Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-East Turkestan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan)

The Republic of Texas.
The thing about making witty signature lines is that it first needs to actually be witty.Similarly, the Austrian Empire (although today it'd probably be known as the Austrian Commonwealth or something).
It'd be like the post-feudal Holy Roman Empire, minus Frenchmen plus Slavs. Good trade. Plus, Germanic mythology meets Slavic mythology.
Siegfried vs. Count freakin' Dracula. Taking bets.

Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — WatchI agree with Shinra on most of his ideas, but I would also like the whole Carribean, as well as the whole South America, to unify into two larger states. Unification of the whole Latin America (South and Central Americas and the Carribean) would also be nice. Apart from that, a federation encompassing the whole Balkans (ex-Yugoslavia, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania with Moldova and Hungary, maybe Turkey, too).
The sin of silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.Seconding Tibet and Texas.
Banned entirely for telling FE that he was being rude and not contributing to the discussion. I shall watch down from the goon heavens.United Korea scares me, if only because of how I don't know what the hell happened for it to get there. Also it isn't specified why it's like that, but i'll assume a positive environment.
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.FF Shinra: wow that's an impressive list.
fanty: I support the potential countries you mentioned. I disagree that all separatist struggles should be supported though. Most have legitimate issues based on persecution, but one I know of (The Santa Cruz Autonomy Movement) sounds to me like rich people on the best bits of land not wanting any of their resources to go towards the poorer bits of countryside.
(If enough interest in this is generated, and to avoid offtopicness we could do a "Countries that shouldn't exist" topic).
EDIT: Okay I support Chechnya and Palestine - the rest I don't know enough about.

- Rhodesia
- Bombay
- Burma
Kino, Bombay was a city.
If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul. Most definitely Cascadia, or wholesale West Coast+Nevada+Hawaii seccession.
The time has arrived where a West Coaster must look at the inland's fundies, fascists, authoritarians and conservatives with disgust and say fuck it, we're splitting away from this mess.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.- Oceania
- Eurasia
- Eastasia
Seriously though...
- The United Kingdom of Great Britain and United Ireland
- The United States of Central America
- Greater Germanic Reich
- Ottoman Empire
- Russian Empire
- Khmer Empire
- Persian Empire
- Yugoslavia (including former Ottoman Territories)
- Greater Scandinavia
- United Rhodesia
- United Repubic of Korea
- Gran Columbia
As you can see, I'm in favour of constructing larger nation-states instead of breaking them up into little chunks.
