Wolf is going to come. They don't need a ballot to decide on an easy Brawl vet, especially when they've got a new Star Fox to promote.

If Wolf's not in it then that becomes a moot point, no?
I doubt they'd include Wolf unless he was high on the ballots, simply because evidence suggests only two more DLC characters, and I don't think they'd want only one by fan input.
What evidence suggests only two more DLC characters?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! There was something a while back that suggested there would be six total. We already have four. Ergo, two more.
Also, I don't think it's a given that Wolf is coming back just because he was in Brawl. I don't understand this fandom's need for every character to be in every game. That's not how fighting games work.
It's a given because A: Wolf is low effort (compared to say Ryu) high reward, B: Star Fox is Nintendo's big holiday game (it has Wolf), and C: Sakurai knows all characters have their fans and has made a serious effort to make sure as many of them come back. Even freaking Roy and Dr. Mario.
They're not going to actually say that of course. PR demands we stay in the dark until the company decides they're ready to surprise for maximum effect. That's why they only vaguely considered DLC publicly until Mewtwo. That's why they were oohing and ahhing over more DLC after Mewtwo until they weren't. That's why they never said E3 would bring even more characters right now. It's all about controlling the message so they get maximum mileage out of Directs and general hype.

I disagree.
I wasn't expecting Wolf until I was reminded that Star Fox is a holiday release. Now I'll be shocked if he's not a November release, since Smash Bros is the ultimate in Nintendo advertising.
I'm not going to be surprised when Wolf comes out. Just like I wasn't surprised about DLC happening or Lucas. But we'll have to wait for October in all likelihood.
Rumor. Nintendo is bringing out Momotaro Dentetsu next year. Konami owns the IP and got it when they bought Hudson. The game itself isn't the interesting part about the rumor, but the implication that Nintendo is interested in salvaging Hudson's IP's from Konami's console gaming corpse sounds very nice.
Save Bomberman, Nintendo.
and My five characters I'd like most to see as DLC in Smash are Wolf, Krystal, King K. Rool, Dixie Kong, and Snake. I wouldn't mind seeing Rayman, Ni GH Ts, Nightmare, Inkling, Travis Touchdown (VERY unlikely), Shovel Knight, Bayonetta, Wonder Red, Viridi, Bomberman, Scorpion, Simon Belmont, Patty Wagon, or Shantae as playable fighters, just those five are the ones I'd like to see as DLC characters in SSB.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! You can read the eulogy delivered by Genyo Takeda here and a final farewell by Shigesato Itoi here. Both are incredibly touching and I'm sorry for probably making everyone sad again.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Do you think they'll release free DLC characters? Clones and guest fighters like Ryu are probably not going to be, but maybe it's possible for characters of franchises not yet playable in Smash? Like Advance Wars.
On Wolf.
Do Wolf's Lylat Cruise codecs still exist in the data for Smash 4?
I have a message from another time...I doubt they'd exist in the current version of the game.
It would have to be updated. Just like if Snake becomes DLC his codecs would have to be included in an update.
One of my online streaming friends was questioning the price of the DLC pack of the June/14 DLC, stating that the pack that included Mewtwo and Mii costumes was cheaper...despite the fact that the 6/14 Pack includes 3 characters, 2 stages, and Mii costumes. It simply had more content. Though why would you spend all the money on the pack instead of getting just the characters and stages?
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Because the costumes are kickin' rad, so there.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!In Europe the retail version of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is a limited edition. They don't have a standard edition. The eShop version has a free trial where you play the prologue and first two chapters before being asked if you want to purchase the full game.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureXenoblade Chronicles is out on the eShop in Europe and Australia.
Xenoblade Chronicles X getting a limited Wii U bundle and collector's editions.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."So I'm guessing that Xenoblade Chronicles for E-shop deal will only be for Europe then, since there's also the New 3DS version.
Does Europe have the hand-held version, or was it only out in Canada and America?
As for those Xenoblade Chronicles X bundles, I'll check them out. I'll be at my local Anime convention this Saturday, but I'll see about checking out the Twitch stream.

One Strip! One Strip!Xenoblade Chronicles 3D came out in Europe, Australia, and Japan a week before the NA version.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Oh.
Well, it's still a cool deal for those who didn't get the N-3DS I suppose.
One Strip! One Strip!I would actually really like XBC to have its Wii version put on the eShop. From everyone I've talked to, the Wii version, while harder to find, is better than the New 3DS version.
Man. Part of me wants them to put it one the Canadian E-shop (which I imagine is the same as the American one), and part of me is like I have too many games to play already! I'd never finish it! Arrrrrrgh!
One Strip! One Strip!I'm shocked they put out Xenoblade there already. I thought they'd wait a year or so since it's the only worthwhile New 3DS exclusive. At this point I guess they care more about selling Xenoblade X. Will double dip for gamepad controls when it comes out next year in America.
People are buying the N3DS on the strength of its better speed and nicer screen than anything else right now. I guess Nintendo doesn't see the point of gimping peoples' ability to prepare for X just to move a system.
IIRC, he mentioned in one of his Famitsu pieces that Roy, Lucas, and Ryu are the last DLC characters decided by the dev team, presumably meaning the rest will come from the ballot.
