I'm pretty sure at that point you literally become the flu.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!We at least got some data. Mario Kart 8 is the best selling Wii U game at 4.77 million. Smash U is at 3.39. 3D World 3.79. Nintendo Land 4.44.
SMT X FE is still a thing. So are Projects Guard and Giant Robot. Giant Robot and Yoshi are slated for the first half of 2015 in the west. Mario Maker's name is apparently temporary.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Jesus, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has only been out for two months and is already at 9+ million.
Pokemon in general is pretty much the original "it prints money!" for Nintendo, I believe.
So Giant Robot is definitely separate from Project Guard and Star Fox U?
"We're home, Chewie."Looks like it. That's pretty cool. Nintendo will have 4 new I Ps this year.
They're really knocking it out of the park with the Wii U this year. They've got a pretty diverse lineup.
smt x fe is coming out guys we swear
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughI'm still here hoping that F-Zero is among the "unannounced titles" that they are mentioning.
F-Zero and Metroid would be great. We already got Star Fox. All we're missing are those two.
5 new IP's. Steam, Splatoon, Giant Robot, Guard, and Devil's Third. Though I guess Guard can still be incorporated into Star Fox.
We may get a 3DS Metroid, but don't count on one for Wii U. I don't see that turning out well. F-Zero is a pipe dream until proved otherwise.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.I thought Devil's Third was a third party game.
It's being published by Nintendo. That doesn't make it first-party.
It's as first party as Wonderful 101. Not developed by them, but Nintendo owns the game. It's in the first party section for a reason.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Oh, possibly. It's the one they bought from the THQ auction, isn't it?
THQ dropped the game awhile before the company's meltdown; Devil's Third has been in Development Hell for quite some time.
But yes, publishing a new IP traditionally means owning the new IP. With some exceptions like EA's ill-fated partners division.
Bleye knows Sabers.Nintendo started their YouTube Partner program. You can either register individual videos for 60% of the ad revenue, or an entire channel for 70% of the ad revenue. My guess is that registered videos are far less likely to be taken down by copyright claims, since you actually have Nintendo's permission to use them. The following games are eligible for this program. Some clarification between registering videos and channels.
- If you register a channel, you're only allowed to post videos of Nintendo's approved games and your own original content. It won't work if you have content owned by a third party on it, like a game developed by someone else, movies, or music. This is best suited for channels that are completely dedicated to Nintendo content, as it grants a higher percentage of ad revenue.
- If you register a video, you're free to do whatever you like on your channel. The video itself can only contain content from Nintendo's approved games and your own original content, so no third party music, videos, or images. This is best suited for people who don't focus on Nintendo content, as it grants them more freedom to do what they want on their channel.
That's cool. I imagine very few people will take advantage of the full channel thing but it's only a 10% loss so it's no big deal. I do imagine that a lot of Let's Players will be leaping on this, though.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Eeeeeh...
I don't really like the idea of Nintendo dipping their fingers into fanmade pies...
I'll let the Youtubers themselves decide what's what.
I bought Super Metroid on the virtual console. It just felt like my duty.
Bleye knows Sabers. That's a really limited list they have there of games, and I'd imagine someone who does the full channel thing might run out of material at some point if they do that. Do they plan on expanding the list? I'm surprised that it doesn't grant permission for any Nintendo games...but, then, maybe there are rights and royalties issues with developers and creators and such involved.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.Well, if you want to make money off of YouTube then someone's going to be getting a share of the ad revenue so it might as well be Nintendo if you're doing their games. Especially since I do believe 60% is fairly good with 70% being better still.
They'll also likely add all 1st Party games as they're released although why games like Majora's Mask and Super Paper Mario are absent is anyone's guess. I'm assuming the absence of Pokemon is due to Game Freak but the absence of Smash Bros and Fire Emblem is also anyone's guess.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Fair use and Youtube and all that is a fairly grey area with a lot of room for argument.
Remember also that this is a beta version, so they may roll out other games as well later.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I love Let's Plays as much as the next guy, but honestly if you're going to use someone's intellectual property to make a profit, prepare for the creator to "dip their hands" in it as well.
I mean, there is a reason why Riff Trax only release the audio of the movies they rifts and not the movies as well.
As far as Nintendo's policy list goes, it seems to only really apply to their first party titles so one way to work within the parameters is to simply create an alternate channel if you are a Let's Player; one for Nintendo's first parties and one for everything else.
The problem with that is that the viewer count plummets if you split your channel. For instance the L Per Northernlion makes about 4 Binding of Isaac videos every day but if he split his channel into one just focused on Isaac and one on everything else all his casual viewers who mostly just watch his other videos and watch Isaac once in a while would suddenly never watch 2/3 of his primary content.
Fever, bleh. Apparently it's going around Japan a lot right now. Hopefully this washes over in a few days.
