Spoilers are a no-go...that second example is pretty good, if we use the trope name panel and the panels immediately before and after. That's provided the text looks good if it needs to be resized.

EDIT: As an alternative, here's another option...panels 2-4 or 3 and 4.

I'm okay with that. The "out of nowhere" trope would be Ass Pull, correct?

Not in this case; the main character of the webcomic is a Reality Warper of sorts and can conjure stuff like that out of nothing, so I was thinking something in relation to that aspect.
