I'm probably not the only troper whose noticed this, but we seem to be unsure as to what should be the page picture for the individual Super Sentai pages. Of the 35 series, eleven of them have pictures of the team in full suit (though Gokaiger's page picture has every ranger in full-suit anyway), nine of them are the civilian forms of the team, and two of them (Abaranger and Go-Onger) have both civilian and full-suit pictures.

Should we stick with one type of image for each page (full-suit, civilian, or both), or just leave the current pages as they are and let the tropers take their pick?

Thanks!

Anyway, I'm personally leaning toward using only the henshined forms of the teams, since the suits seem to be more iconic than the people in them.

I'm not really biased towards one or the other — I think this is one of those instances where it really depends on what images there are for each series that are of good enough quality to work (decent size, no watermarks, etc.) And in any case, we could always just use out-of-suit pictures for the character pages anyway, right?

We could do that. However, I want to get more input on the matter. Just me and someone else isn't enough for us to start a crowner.

It's easier to do full suits for all, though. HQ scans of them are more common.

How about logo/title for the main page and individual pics of the suits for character pages?

[up][up] That would work best.

All right. It should be easy to obtain the logos, though they may not all be in HQ.

We should try to get images of both the civilian and suit forms for the character pages though, especially considering the many instances where one of the characters gives up their powers to someone else.

I added some of the costumed photos myself (particularly Himitsu Sentai Goranger, Choujuu Sentai Liveman, and Gosei Sentai Dairanger). I don't understand why someone else added unmorphed pictures of the cast to some of the pages like Choujin Sentai Jetman and Hikari Sentai Maskman, since it gives such a wrong impression of those shows. Even in the case of Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger (where theoretically it would make more sense to show them out of costume since most people associate the suits with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), it's still a bit misleading.

My suggestion is to use the suit photo for the main page and civilian photos for the characters section.

If there's no objection, then I'm going to take the liberty of adding transformed photos for all the remaining Sentai articles that don't have one.

The consensus appears to be in favor of title screens/logos for the show pages.

Group photos of the teams in uniform is better and more representative of each series than simple logos. :p

Power Rider does bring up a point, though. I'm going ahead with the uniforms only, unless anyone can find a pic with both uniform and logo (which was very prominent in older sentai). If not, I can shop the logo somewhere onto the picture.
