Are you tired of the grind? Are you through with killing that lone goblin over and over a thousand times just so you can get a single rare drop you need to finish that one quest, just so you can get that one piece of equipment you absolutely need?

Are you sick of backtracking? Are you disgusted at having to spend half an hour walking back and forth through the so-called "expansive, open world" in the latest big-budget title just so you can start the tedious grindfest all over again?

Are you fed up with having to pay exorbitant monthly fees? Have you had it with games that put far more stock in flashy visuals and convoluted "lore" than actual gameplay?

Well fear not. Progress is here.

Progress Quest is a revolutionary RPG that aims to forever change the way we think about roleplaying. It accomplishes this by means of a highly sophisticated yet accessible system which streamlines many of the more frustrating and tedious aspects that plague other games in the genre.

Gone are the days when players spent hours trekking from town to some arbitrary location and back, searching identical mazes of cookie-cutter streets just to find that one specific NPC or merchant, or hunting for just the right beast to execute. In Progress Quest, unnecessary tasks such as travelling, slaying monsters, selling loot, and purchasing upgrades have all been automated for your convenience.

In addition, your character is automatically supplied with a constant stream of new and exciting quests, which he will also complete entirely on his own, with no need for you, the player, to waste valuable time doing the same boring tasks you've been doing since RPGs first appeared. Indeed, even such common, tired old mechanics as leveling up, increasing statistics, and learning new spells and abilities have been given a completely new twist that has never before been seen in any game of this kind.

The game is so simple and easy to learn, it practically plays itself, yet it is also deeply rich and rewarding, with a plethora of fascinating quests, a wide variety of powerful equipment and other items, and a vast array of powerful and menacing beasts to confront and slay.

Gone are the boring old days of tedious RPGs. Progress Quest's fresh, exciting new take on the genre is a welcome change in the sea of endless Final Fantasy and World Of Warcraft clones. Play it today, and experience true progress in gaming!

Well, it's a one-note joke. But it's a really good joke, and it gets better the more bad games come out. ;)

Furthermore, I think Guantanamo must be destroyed.

I've personally had great success with my Enchanted Motorcycle Voodoo Princess. A bit newbie-unfriendly, but a very powerful class if played well.

Inspired by the Sarlacc, I've created a new Land Squid Hunter Strangler.

I'm still toying around with builds, but initial results seem promising despite my first level spell being the appropriately-named Gyp. My Sharp Stick is surprisingly useful, and the drawbacks of my -2 Burlap Helm are less than one might expect.
