I'd say pull it, I have no idea what's going on there.
In-context, great example. Out-of-context, barely even looks related. Seconding pull suggestion.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyErr... yeah, I'm the one who put that image up. I'd be fine with getting another picture, but I'm at a loss for how to display this trope without using several images in combination (e.g. two shots each of shooting at a friendly vs. shooting at an enemy).
EDIT: Actually, I think this might still work, if I added in the 3rd or 5th panel (maybe also the 6th one, for the lulz).

EDIT 2: My idea - [[305:]]

I reject your requirement for a witty statement or fanboyish squealing in my signature. It's a little big, but it works...you could lose the first panel and not hurt it.
Both of those comics strike me as great for Image Links, but too lengthy for the main page. I'd prefer something more concise, if possible.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Not the entire thing just 3 panels.
Please. Is this exactly the opposite of this trope?
In game no. The games has a spy class which can disguise to look like hes a teamate. Most people assign the pyro class to spycheck which involves burning everyone you see as teammates don't catch on fire while spys do. I saw two comic stacked on each other where it shows a pyro and a medic and in one the medic does not catch and the other the (fake)medic catches and dies. I wanted to use the realmedic panels, but could not find it. I found that instead. I am asking could I rearrange panels 4 and 9 to show teammates standing. Teammate one attacks. Teammate two is unharmed.
tl;dr Am I allowed to remix the comic or does that violate something.
Please.I don't know if Ash Face counts as harmed or not.
Rhymes with "Protracted."I said 4 9 4. not 4 9 10.
Please. So, you want the image of the pyro facing the heavy (w/o text), the image of the pyro burning the heavy, and then the image of the pyro facing the heavy again? That could work. It would illustrate the trope pretty well, and it wouldn't be as long as the Concerned comic.
I reject your requirement for a witty statement or fanboyish squealing in my signature.Well I used paint.
Please.
Yeah, that's pretty good.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Suggest caption: "It didn't even toast his sandvich."
I reject your requirement for a witty statement or fanboyish squealing in my signature. It looks alright, but how do we know that they're supposed to be on the same side?
Similar color-schemes, they're both wearing black-red-gold.
I wonder if it is ok to remix the comic, though. At any rate, since it is Deviant Art, a e-mail should be send asking permission, anyway.
Oh, and to give more emphasis on the "same side", it would be better go for 3-9-4 instead.
I think 4 9 3 Would be better. How would I go about emailing them? What would I need to ask and get?
Please.I think you just email the guy who made the comic and ask if we can use panels from the comic for the trope image. Nothing formal about it.
I reject your requirement for a witty statement or fanboyish squealing in my signature.I would suggest something from an actual example, such as:
- Characters from Golden Axe (or at least the arcade/Genesis version) using the magic spells and hurting the enemy characters without hurting each other...
- The police from Streets Of Rage firing into the streets and their weapons hurting the gang members but not the main characters.
- Or something from the Legend Of Zelda series involving Link using something that kills only enemies when you'd think it would kill nonenemy NPCs in the process. (Din's Fire in Ocarina Of Time comes to mind, but I doubt it's the only example.)
For the first and last examples, the caption can attribute it to magic; not sure whether this makes it better or worse for a page image.
And I am hesitant to post specific screenshots, as I am typing from an office (well, I am on a break) and am hesitant to use their bandwidth for TV Tropes image uploads. I might suggest specific images when I get home.

I thought TF 2 was an actual example. Anyone hear from the DA artist?
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Team Fortress 2 is an actual example. Maybe Neo means that an in-work image would be better. Hm, I may have an idea...
EDIT: Nope.

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.
Is that alien-looking thing supposed to be friendly?
