Bad! No more untill we clear the last ten pages!
I vote image less
Please. Here's the pic, since Eddie unilaterally cut it.
EDIT: WTF, why is it not showing up? Did it get completely removed from the server or am I doing something wrong?

I think we need sound in the pic.
Edit. Also the trope is about closing your fist. And cracking other joints by stretching.

Please. How's this? Too subtle? (view image for wiki size)
EDIT: If it is, I can try to scan my tankobon, the piece of the kanji isn't in the corner and the sound effect is a little bigger

Not bad. The sound effect sure is tiny, though.
Since it's mentioned that Shepard provides the trope image on the Mass Effect page I vote we use one from there. There's several scenes where s\he cracks up, the bit with the volus is a good one if we could get a good image of that.
What is a Shepard? What is a "mass effect", for that matter?
Shepard is the main character in the Mass Effect game series, IIRC.
I think the best example so far is post 7.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Bump...any other thoughts?
Until I look for a manga scan with Kenshiro audibly cracking his knuckles, lets go with this.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.We need the audible cracking; that's not coming across in that pic.
Love it. Just crop out that panel and we have our picture.
And here we go.
But... the caption is a lie.
Like it.
Please.If you've got another suggestion, let's hear it...it really doesn't need a caption, but it wouldn't hurt.
Since this has lagged so badly and the last pic's got some support, it's up, potholed, and tagged. If you want to add a caption, go for it. Locking up.
So, it's apparently female Shepard, standing in an awkward pose that's difficult to discern with her fully black armor and poor lighting.
Might I recommend a comic panel instead? Dragon Ball is the first example given, and it's bound to have plenty of material that could be used. Failing that, perhaps a Duke Nukem 3 D screenshot featuring the start-of-level knuckle crack?
