I agree with splitting the trope. The unicorn examples seem rather out of place there to me, but I do think you are right about them sharing a theme.
If this trope is split, do you think the picture should be changed as well?

Wow, it hurts my head trying to see how those unicorn examples had anything to do with the trope (other than involving virgins). Horrible.

Agree with the split proposal. For the unicorn version, how about Unicorns Favor Virgins? And if you think that sounds a little perverted, well, academics do point out the inherent sexual undertones of many unicorn stories for a reason.

Right then, somebody go ahead and split off Virgins And Unicorns. Find a better name if you think it's needed.

I think it needs a better name. Virgins Atract Unicorns? I'm not sure. I think I'll start a YKTTW for this to split it off. That way we can get more examples, not that we don't have a large number to start with.

Got a holler to close. I'd like to close this, and I agree that a split would make sense — but it looks we're still awaiting the YMMV and trimming of the problem examples from the article.

Though it doesn't seem so at first glance, there are actually two tropes here in the examples. One with virgins behaving stupidly, and one about virgins and unicorns. The lengthy examples about virgins and unicorns really should get their own trope. They don't all really fit this one though they do have their own theme.
